Thank you as I wasn’t aware of band replacement, that Dunlop would provide replacement part & tool at no costs. Also I could not have done this repair without this video, so thanks again!
Followed along with this video, per Dunlops recommendation, and my replacement band drive snapped in the same place my original one did before I managed to get it back together. I love how this pedal feels but the design with the plastic band is completely flawed.
Has the pedals retention gone to shit on you? Mines is flooping around so I have to stay on my volume pedal all night to make sure it doesn't go to zero for volume haha
Ian thanks so much for this! QUESTION: doing this fix right now but theres a tiny little ‘collar’ or flange thing that prevents pulling the drum off the D-shaft. Can’t seem to get the collar off the shaft, do you just force it to pop off or how did you remove it? Thanks for your help!
Dunlop sent me the replacement band, but didn't send the tool. Any idea what the size of the hex screws are? None of the metric or SAE sizes I've tried at the hardware store fit.
