I told myself no more audio stuff for a this year, but of course this shows up. At least these aren't limited like the Ultra. Will wait for your review. Dunu just announced these will be available in May at $579.
I wish I could justify spending the money to get this set but it's just out of my price range. They look gorgeous and if they sound half as good as they look they're a winner...

I guess the question for many would be if it's worth the "upgrade" (or let's call it "shift") from the Ultra to the MKII.. at least this question is from me :) so I'll be waiting for your next video with full review and comparisons - meanwhile congratulations for your daughter's wedding and enjoy!
first congrats on ur daughter's wedding, I would like to dunu have done well in SA6 MK2. However, the carrying case to me is a downgrade and less pocketable and the increase on shell size with similar internals is kind of a turn of for my small ears. My question is, if I purchased a second hand dunu SA6 MK1 and downloaded with auto eq similar tuning to SA6 Ultra or MK2 from squiglink, would I be able to achieve the tonality and technicalities similar to the other two since they are same in components?
I doubt that the performance would be the same man with EQ. I guess it has a lot of things going on based on the cavity structure. And yes the shells are a little on the larger side, but the fit is still quite good at least for me.
Very smart for them to do this as the response and praise for the Ultra was pretty insane, making an improved version of it is even better. And here I am listening to a freshly purchased IE600 and wondering if I can swing this one too 🤣 fml
My goodness have I grown attached to your videos on IEMs and DAPs. I just ordered the Fiio M15S and your video really helped me with that decision so thank you. My question is how do these Dunu SA6 MKII IEMs match up with that particular Fiio player most especially given the fact that my musical taste is quite eclectic (classical, rock, metal and even hip-hop)?

Slick unboxing Dave, a pleasure to watch. Same impressions though with more eartime, I'm lovin' mine over the Ultras with the extended treble sparkle + air and that extra punch in the bass gives it a more engaging listen. Those XL S&S tips really what it got it goin, finally.
I’m glad they kept a similar style tuning to the ultra, but am a bit disappointed the shells are larger. The OG/Ultra are the most comfortable earphones I’ve ever warn
Aw man....yeah that's a tough one. They are a little larger however they're shaped very ergonomically so you never know. Do you have any way of demoing a pair?
Will you do a full review of this set? And how much better are they compared to the 7Hz Timeless, you would say? And do the SA6 MK2 have inverted polarity?
