Loved how the journalist is literally reading the promotional ad as as script. I use Duolingo, too but journalism can't be trusted in this era.

Was on a 267 day steak on DL but left because the woke scenarios in all the lessons was unbearable and bore no similarity to most people's lived experience.

You suggested AI ( digital, Internet, smartphones etc) bring better quality, deep and broad education to masses of people who didn't have access before. I'd say billions of people have access to knowledge, education, vocational and skills training. There were 30,000 official NOC occupations. I'd say the number of occupations are increasing. 50 years ago there were a few engineering occupations, civil, mechanical, chemical, electrical. Now how many? 150? 250? Duolingo could easily expand its business plan. The young all need some sort of AI certificate. So for example, 200,000,000 post secondary students need an AI certificate and they're not getting it yet. Since there's 1,000,000 HuggingFace AI models, students need general AI certificates and particular AI certificates. AI won't replace you but someone using AI may.
