Teacher Sally, you helped me significantly. Thank you for free and useful source, which you give us. I gained 105 score at the real test. It’s enough to enter my dream university. I really appreciate you 💕💕💕
Hai Teacher Sally. I took my practice test today, I would like to inform you that there was a new question type in practice test , it was also a bit tough . It is similar to 'write what your hear" Question. But this is "we should repeat the Sentence what we hear".
This is a very useful video, Thank you so much! Can you make a video about the real words in the duolingo english test? I think it is the most difficult.
Could you please tell me, in the vocabulary section if the past form or v3 form are appeared. Should i choose them as a correct word?? Or not.. Plsssss answer this question.. Um i. Confusion
Hi, I have a question, thinking and writing in just one minute is quite difficult. I could only be able to write max. two-sentences. Would that be ok"?
The picture shows two women relaxing by a campfire in the woods. The woman on the left is pouring a drink from her bottle to the woman on the right. I think they are enjoying a cool evening in early fall.
This picture shows two girls that are sitting in the ground. The short haired woman is giving a cup of water to her friend. They may be in a trip for vacation and that day they could be planning to sleep there.
This picture shows two kids that are playing in a jumping game. One them is wearing a multicolor t-shirt with a different pair of socks. While the other one is wearing red socks.
Anou. Teacher Sally, Is the camera important while I'm doing the practice test. I tried to do it but my house has lots of people and I scared that something bad would happen when they are in the camera vision. When I do the real test, I'll find a quiet place.
I dont think it matters for the practice test. I hope no one is looking at that because I don’t know how I have looked playing with that site! 🤣. I think it’s fine if people are around for the practice test. As you said, find a quiet place for the real test.
Sally can you please corelate Literacy, Comprehension, Conversation and Production vs type of Duolingo questions type? I gave me exam second time and my score were 110 with Literacy: 105 (down 5 compare to last time), comprehension 120(10 up), Conversation 105 (15 up) and Production 80 (10 down). I need minimum of 120 score to get admission for Masters. How can I achive this goal in 2-3 weeks?
Hi ShaliniDinesh, This is a great question! Literacy: c-test, vocabulary (read and select), write about a picture, read and respond to a question (read and respond to a question in 50 words). Comprehension: c-test, both vocabulary types, listen and type (dictation), read aloud. Conversation: listen and select, listen and type, read aloud, speak about a photo, read then speak, listen then speak. Production: Write about a photo, speak about a photo, read then write (respond to a question in 50 words), read then speak (this is the oral version of responding to a question), listen then speak. This is a great question, and I think a lot of people may have this question. I would advise to work on the literacy and production questions since those were the lowest. The questions both have in common are C-test, write about a photo, and read a question and respond in 50 words. I would focus on those three types. Pay attention to the first sentence you're writing and make sure you're answering the question very simply and in a straightforward way before adding details.
This is a photograph of two young women relaxing in front of firewood. They are surrounded by trees, so I predict they must be in a forest spending their weekend by the campfire. The woman who is wearing long colorful sleeves pouring a drink to the woman on the right side of the picture
Yes, you can! Just practice- especially pay attention to small details. Take your time to make sure you get everything that you know correct without losing points for things like not capitalizing letters or using punctuation.
This image shows a man and a woman that are kissing to each other. In the background I see a lot of trees, so I assume they are in the park. The woman is wearing a pale pink dress and the man is wearing a gray suit. I suppose they are in a photo session for their wedding.
The picture shows a young man holding a young woman with her knees bent into the air as they kiss. They are in the park and I guess they are on the date. This happy couple appears to be celebrating good news, perhaps they are celebrating a marriage propasal.
