I think that some ppl’s skin can use most anything & the results are the same but for some of us , the higher end products that have the best ingredients work better for us if we can afford it. However, I do agree that in a lot of cases it’s just the brands. As I’ve found tho for my skin tone & type, I do need the product w the best ingredients even if it is more expensive!❤️ Charlotte Tilbury makes my skin look its very best but I can’t always afford it.

@@ann6030 yes maybe your right but I am from Turkey and the dollar is equal 7.9 Turkish lira so if a charlotte tilbury lipstick is 40 dollar in your country but in Turkey it is 300 Turkish lira and we never buy it but wetn wild deborah milano revolution brands maybelline the balm or some brands are a little bit cheap than high end sorry my bad english ı hope ı can tell you👸

Thank you!💕one of the things that I find worth the extra money is where the product is manufactured. At this stage in my life, I’m concerned about products made in china being absorbed through my skin so I’d rather pay more for products made in the USA or Italy, Canada, etc.

These are FABULOUS dupes! I have both the Milani primer and the CT and honestly no difference on my face and I actually prefer the Milani packaging:) Good to know about the Milani foundation- I have quite an extensive foundation collection 🙈but it continues to dwindle as my girls raid it lol. I really like alot of ELF products, but i've used the putty blush and it wears off of my combination skin very quickly, even when setting it with setting powder and using a good finishing spray. I find that to be the case with pretty much every cream blush i have tried.

Hi Elle! With the exception of one of the brushes I have all the products you mentioned. I almost completely agree with you down to the Elf Halo glow being really good just not under the eyes! Only diff imho is Halo powder again is really good but HG still just looks better. Hope your well! Lotsa love ❤️❤️❤️

I'm a bit perplexed about the particular shade you used for that makeup revolution concealer? Are you choosing the "yellow" undertone for "correcting"? I was looking it up assuming you'd have chosen a lighter more "brightening" one? (Which tbh I was confused? Not sure if neutral or pink? ) Or as you're doing "yellow"?? Help .

❤️- Just to confirm you use 310 Golden Sand in the Milani foundation in this video? That one seems so dark for you but looks amazing when you put it on. I wanted to make sure it wasn’t number 210. I have been told I have light to med neutral undertone but I feel I have some pink undertone that needs to be evened out or naturalized. I could see you using 310 more in the summer, just wanted to confirm. Gorgeous as always girl🥰

What is going on with YT? No notification 😱😱😱🤬🤬 I'm happy to see an alternative for anything by Hourglass. Many people (including YT's) are boycotting them due to their incessant lack of inclusivity. Elf to the rescue, 😊 As CT is now selling in China, would you still consider them to be a cruelty free brand? Apparently, they have said that no animal testing will occur to their products that are being sold in China - but I'm not convinced. So sorry Elle (I know you love CT products), but I felt I needed to ask you. Thank you for sharing these amazing dupes! 🌸❣🌸❣🌸

I have been looking into this myself. This is what ethical elephant said and I am so so sad to say I agree “(UPDATE: OCT 2020) It is currently unclear whether Charlotte Tilbury is 100% cruelty-free or not in 2021. Charlotte Tilbury has decided to open a pop-up shop in China where animal testing may be required by law for its products. I am currently investigating this matter but at the moment, I no longer feel comfortable listing Charlotte Tilbury as being 100% cruelty-free.”

Any profit made from the Chinese sales will not cover the losses incurred due to lost sales, as people, who only buy CF products, stop buying her products. So that's HG and CT on the naughty step! Sadly, I love the products they both create. xx

the mascara just looks the same, not tubbing unfortunately. The elf powder has no glitter that I can see but definitely there is a glow
