The reason the admins disabled the command so fast is that it was probably the most common command that you ran. You can see the commands a player ran on the logs. Next time, have a script or client that sends both rubbish and valid commands to avoid the duping glitch from being patched that quickly.
Hijacking your comment to add that you shouldn't be too blatant. If you drop stacks of crates, they're gonna roll back the server and nothing will be achieved. Instead, you should start acting smart, maybe with some items that don't get announced in chat and that give a variety of rewards, such as normal crates (I guess, I don't really play Minecraft multiplayer since 2014). You slowly bloat the economy in a prolonged period of time, giving away single crates here and there. This way, it will be extremely more difficult to catch on. The more time passes, the more difficult it becomes to just roll back the server. It would require voiding days (if not weeks) of player progress. It would be really nice to see
tldr: report false minigames to the site that holds their link, they may remove the tag, server gets less visibility, which leads to less voters which leads to less visibility and cycles into eventually death of the server because quitters arent being replaced by new people as fast and staff may increase donation options introduced instead of actual content updates which may lead to people quitting for non-stop new donation options instead of content updates. i would report that to the site which holds their link. the site staff may check if they have x minigame that they claim they have, they see that they dont have it and remove it from their tags, reducing visibility (and new players in long run and potential people who would pay and the money server gets in a long run(cause people eventually quit and server hopes that new people replaces them but you then attack the rate server gets new players and thus voters which would keep them above other servers which gives other servers chance to go past it which leads to less players which leads to less votes and this cycle continues until the server is on page 5), which may lead the people behind it do stupid decisions like multiple new donation options without actual content updates which may annoy people and lead even more people to quit) and then you report another one and they remove that too, repeat until site staff may just add custom warning the server like: this server has lied about the tags they have, and we have removed several of them, please be aware of this and report if you see a tag that we claim they have but the server doesn't actually have which may deter people from entering the server entirely even if they have the tag user searched for. when pressing copy link. i do that each time i search from page 20 of popular prisons cause i like to play prisons in empty servers, lets grab this server link here and oh it loads 100% vanilla world without plugins at all and report to site, i have actually never checked if site staff actually ever check, but there is a chance that they remove the tags server claims they have which is fine to me. or then just report all false tags at once and make them see clear drop in new players and make them panic on whats going on.
Hey, I have an idea that might work for permanently destroying a P2W server's economy. It would take much longer than normal, but it would be almost impossible to fix. First, you would dupe all your stuff like normal. However, instead of just dumping everything at once, you begin to sell the stuff like normal. Maybe distribute the items to some alt accounts and have THEM sell the items, too, if the server lists the name of the seller so that it doesn't look too suspicious. At first, sell the items at a normal/slightly cheaper price. People buy them like normal. Over time, start lowering the price of the items. This will artificially deflate the value of the items, but it will look at least somewhat-natural, so the admins won't notice it at first. After some time, stop lowering the prices of that item. This will be where you leave the price for a while. Next, start dumping all of your duped items. This will signal the admins that there has been duping going on, and they will rush to fix things. Make sure to draw their attention to the deflated prices of the items that you caused (You could probably draw their attention to this by selling the duped items for $1 or whatever the lowest possible price of the items are, alongside other of the items priced at the "normal" deflated valve. This should make them think that the new "normal" deflated price are also duped items, and thus they will remove the "normal" priced items too). This will make them do damage control and artificially *INFLATE* the price of the item. Once they've done this, people who had previously bought the items will suddenly have tons of items that they bought cheap, and can now sell for a huge profit. The admins would have two choices to fix this: 1. Track down every single sale that was part of the deflation campaign, and remove any of the deflated items and remove whatever money the buyer may have made on reselling the items. 2. Rollback weeks upon weeks of work to a point before the items started being deflated. The first option is borderline impossible, especially on a bigger server or a server with less documentation on player trades. Effectively, the second option would be their only choice. This would DESTROY their playerbase, as people would have countless hours of time and effort erased, for what would be perceived as a single duping event that should only have caused a few hours of rollback. The best part about this is that unless the admins go full Communist and force players to trade at a set price, they will have almost no ability to stop what is happening before the damage is done, as the only way to notice the damage before the final step of the plan would be to actively watch the market/auction house, and keep track of the price of every single item sold. And, even IF they did that, reducing the price decreases and spreading the campaign over a longer period would be enough to pass under their noses.
I don't know if this is feasible, but maybe don't do everything on a single day. Instead, take an entire week to dupe and distribute to as many accounts of yours as possible and then slowly distribute over the next week. Or would the staff catch on to that? I think this could have a longer-lasting impact on the server. Worst case scenario they would have to roll back two weeks of progress.
Imagine having multiple duping videos set up at once... while you're sitting waiting for one stash to sit before distributing, you can be working on another... then have dozens of servers hit by many week long dupe plans lmao
I heard that the staff check what new players are doing so you would have to pretend to play legit for some time before you could even attempt to do this.
@lightyagami3492 To be fair, he could just wait until he's no longer considered a "new" player, THEN start duping. He would at least know more about the server and potential ways to hide the duping. I.E. secret places he could stache the dupes, who the "white knights" of the server are that may try to tell the admins if there is duping. Stuff like that.
or even better yet, have a duped stache of them, wait awhile, then distribute, and when it gets rolled back, just do it again, because it outlasted the roll back. do it over and over, until people get frustrated at never getting to keep things, causing them to quit.
I love you, they FALSE banned me for 'cheating' and i always hated it, BTW i found a dupe with the trade system but it got patched (Around 6 months ago) and they false advertise as 'Dropper server!' 'Roleplay server!" ETC.. My respect for you has only went up and tripled, possibly quadripiled Thank you so much.. I wasted 900+ USD when i was stupid.. You brought justice and I respect you
The community is so toxic too... I won something in an vote party crate and a lot of people started harassing me to do trade or drop it, they called me in chat when i said "no" they started to harass me in chat
The amount of service he is putting into making micecraft severs a better place is just too great. I cant imagine how much loss these servers made from you and your team/friends duping.
unless the server loses paying customers (paying consistently) then they haven't done a single thing. these servers exist because the owners know that people will pay to be powerful even in a kids video game
You know; you could have done a lot worse. Go out far into the wild; dupe and scatter chests of high value items for months and only then start distributing. Since the chests in the wild aren't protected you can come back with alts over and over again; and in the end pass out coordinates. If they face a three month rollback to get rid of the stuff ...
Did you know? In the server you duped on, if you say “p2w”, it will display as “i love purple prison”, “please /vote on all the links”, “unicorns” and also most likely other stupid stuff, because the server’s owners are trying to spread propaganda of their server while cutting down on anti-P2W messages.
@@cn1364-w6c It's purposely manipulative to younger players. They sell items that have ridiculously boosted parameters that don't even matter after a certain point.
@@cn1364-w6c A lot of parents don't even question these kinds of things though. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with P2W, but this server is to the point where it's selling you 'OP' items that aren't doing what they're sold to do.
@@donutsndcoffee Are you telling me parents are giving their cards to their children and letting them spend money mindlessly? If so, that sounds like a parenting problem. Are you going to give me the excuse that kids are stealing their parents cards? That sounds like a parenting issue
yeah but if they roll the server back to before the distribution the accounts that duped the items would have all the items and then those accounts can also easily be banned
@@shrekpaidaisuki4912 You mean the stashes which would just be deleted? You can get plugins that can very easily scan for items in chests/inventories so they get be checked out and deleted. "Hmm, looks like somebody has flooded the market with duped [item]" _scans for chests and inventories with large quantities of [item]_ _deletes stashes found by the scan_ "Problem solved!"
Not sure if you do this, but you should log in with multiple accounts ways prior to duping, this makes it where if the server has welcome messages or staff are notified on a first time login; that account is less suspicious if you get banned
The fact that they tried to act as if they werent breaking rules because "mojang unbanned them" and then left at the first mention of what they actually did shows even more how scummy and deceptive they are. Good video 👍
I've been part of purple prison for a year. It's totally a pay to win server. The only things you can do is vote, coin flip, PVP, auction, and sell or buy items at other people's plots. The voting rewards are not really that good. The server's most expensive items are OMEGA AXES and BLAST PICKAXES which cost $1 trillion per one. I quit the server because it got too boring. I hope this information is helpful🙂
To everyone who plays Purple Prison and wants to make money fast: Purple Prison has a strange bug right now. If you place a block (e.g. diamond block) on your plot and then mine it with a fortune pickaxe you get multiple blocks back. You can just repeat this and make billions in a matter of minutes. idk if this is a bug or feature let me know
I love that this was possible due to the assistance of a nameless benefactor. He had to have known, somehow, or maybe he didn't. Either way, he funded this attack on a terrible server.
@@cn1364-w6c 1. Minecraft End User License Agreement 2. Belgium, Finland and the Netherlands all consider it illegal also do you realise that this game is made for kids who don't fully understand what money is or how it works
@@alt1763 Who cares about Minecrafts EULA? Technically any server with ranks breaks EULA. Breaking EULA is a victimless crime. So what if it's made for kids? I don't think kids are the one who is making the financial decisions. You should be blaming the parents who are buying kids these things. Otherwise, if it's an adult buying these packages, then there is zero issue. It's an adult making a financial transaction for an in-game service. The server is providing a service and if you don't want to partake in it, then don't play on the server. Nobody is forcing anybody to play on a "p2w" server.
as a purple prison player a LONG time ago, it didn't use to be like this, it was my very favorite prison servers, a ton of fun, and the 2 owners were super active with everyone. They ended up selling the server, and almost immediately all of this started, all the P2W, and just the server as a whole wasn't any fun anymore, and older players really missed the old owners.
I have a question. Who did they sell the server to? If we can find the corporation that uses these P2W servers like pump and dumps, then we can start to do some serious damage. After all, the best way to make a corporation listen is to kill their means of income
I’m one of the very first few players PurplePrison ever got and never knew it got sold but I tried to log on recently to only see how bad the server has gotten over the years, pay to win to the max, gambling (CFs and other plugins), massive amounts of racist and toxic chats and just overall the staff suck
Honestly they get what they deserve Games are meant to be fun Not stressful due to rich kids using money to get op stuff The amount of effort he makes on these videos is incredible Keep up the great work
You guys should start slow playing this. After you dupe all you feel is necessary, start by having one person randomly hand out whatever the item you plan on duping out to people through out the week. One or two at a time. Little by little. Then by the time you are ready to unleash real havoc, most of the damage has already been done. So when the mods attempt to correct/roll back/whatever, they will realize its already too late and their server will be altered beyond repair.
Man, I remember being on this server a long time ago, I saw all the flashy lights and P2W mechanics and remember scoffing at them. I’d like to thank you soldiers personally, I’m glad you were able to tackle this the way the younger me always dreamed of.
I was a victim to this server and had spent about 50-75 dollars on a few things and accidentally fell into the pvp area and lost everything within seconds
I just thought of something. If you use the extra 4 inventory slots glitch using the touchscreen mode you might be able to hide items from staff and they could be unable to remove them or see them allowing you to continue duping when the staff think they won
wonder if they will ever go over the MOST p2w , the rothschilds/federal reserve. i doubt it......... infact i gamble 90 quadrill (that i dont havE) it aing gonna happen and alls they will do is make even MORE fake CBDC.......
I would like to believe this Random Player knew that you guys were bringing down the destiny of this P2W server, therefore they gave these items as to help. But we may never know...
I am staff on a server that uses this trade plugin and when we heard about how the dupe is done we kind of got super panicked because like in this video it has the potential to ruin all server economies. Thankfully we were able to patch it ourself before anyone duped anything.
When I started out Minecraft 2 years ago I wanted to play some servers. I searched up "cracked Minecraft servers", and for some reason on every website Purple Prison was No.1 on the list (even though it wasn't cracked)
Yes but not featured ones except for lifeboat, their survival server has no anti cheat and I x ray all the time. They are not very p2w though. The only p2w thing they have is about 10mdollars for keep inventory 1 time. That’s the only survival server that is both a featured and working server in bedrock edition. There are some geyser servers like og network that bedrock players dupe on. Including my self one time x_x
Thank you for doing this, this server annoyed me so much when i just wanted to find a server to play, it had like 10 different advertised ips, all of which would take u to this server's ip when clicked, not to mention the server itself is trash
i used to play on this server daily, i met some pretty nice people and honestly loved the server, yet i was so oblivious about the pay to win aspect of the server
I don't play multiplayer so I didn't know this was an issue. But I agree with you that's it so wrong to have loot crates in minecraft worlds to take advantage of younger players. You're a hero going in and messing with the servers economy
BRO I LOVE YOU, I ALWAYS WANTED THIS SERVER TO GO OFF I HATE IT, anytime I search for a server, there's always a purpleprison ad for this damn server that did not change for YEARS, 7 years ago I played on this server and nothing changed at all, they just added more ads
Mojang be like : Poor-quality gun mod created in 2015 : "That promotes violence and war to children ! We have to ban it immediately !" Server that promotes gambling, scamming and power abuse to children : "This is fine."
Just watching a video and having that little 48 hour sale flash thing is driving me nuts I couldn't imagine trying to play with that flashing in my face the whole time.
Yeah i have been seeing this server for too long. Like they buy old popular servers and link them to their server to trick people into thinking its the server they wanna join. Rlly annoying. And no one on the server actually plays, they are just AFK or they r just bots.
Random Fact: I have a total play time of 5 minutes on this server. It looked cool, but my internet was about as useful as torn newspaper ash from a forest fire.
Okay, look, I have spite against purple prison, I'm a legacy user on there. Lmk and I'll let you use my plot on there as a staging ground, they won't check me.
You could've also used the crates to just mass sell your way into baltop #1, and then send the money off to an alt account, or better, spread it to multiple accounts to the point where the mods will think that the players themselves are duping.
