Thanks.. Johnny.. from Saskatchewan, Canada! Eh!
I have a RZR S4 1000 that just had the primary clutch go out on it at less than 2000 miles. I do I broad range of riding from mountain trails and sand dunes to grocery store runs. Would this be a good solution to make my RZR more dependable? Any other suggestions?
Until you said sand dunes, yes this is a slower riders clutch who uses low mostly, you need another OEM primary and maybe dalton clutch kit to go in it from us
I have a 21 XP 1000 Trails and Rocks Edition that has a lower Low gear than the base RZR, and no Hill Decent Control. Is there anything about the Trails and Rocks edition that would keep me from using the Dura Clutch and will the Dura Clutch act like the Hill Decent Control?
Hill decent engages the front diff, otherwise no difference. You can certainly use the duraclutch but you will have more engine braking than you have now,
I bit the bullet and bought one a year ago for my 2015 900 XC. I went directly to Duraclutch as I found the secondary shaft had two sizes that year. They were very cool I had to send and swap out due to that. I love the thing but I have a gear whine that's loud and it sounds just like an old truck for the 1950's with straight cut gears. I can't believe that's from the clutch in any way.
There is only one size shaft in 15, it changed in 16, was two different secondary clutches in 15 though and would need to hear the noise to tell you, but probably not clutch.
Just seeing this and I already have upgraded secondary with bikeman performance stage 3 and changed the weights out but I noticed when I went to 30 inch tires and gas on it RPMs jump up fast but don't feel like it's pulling as hard as it should. Can I just use your guys as primary clutch since I've got an upgraded secondary
How do you adjust the clutch pack I have roughly a thousand miles on my dura clutch and I notice about 500 MI on a long downhill descent the clutch releases and if you get back in the gas it slides the rear tires
Hello, I have a friend with a 2011 Ranger with the diesel engine, not to long after he bought it he started having trouble shifting gears, after it heated up he would have to kill the engine to shift, he's had it back to the dealer numerous times only to take it back home doing the same thing, clutch replaced, several different adjustments and even a recall I understand, I saw on a message board that this setup will take care of the problem, is that something you've heard of, Thanks
Just bought a 19 ranger 900, dealer told me an aftermarket clutch would void my warranty, which I have for 5 years, but damn I hate the jerky laggy starts and that damn drive by wire initial dead spot in the pedal. Work work in thight hilly trails is all I do, this machine will never see over 40 mph. I also plan to add tracks would that suffice as enough gear reduction?
Your dealer is wrong, not the Duraclutch. Owner of the company father started Polaris, and he is retired from Polaris and has a office there. So in the event you buy one and they tell you, just give me a call then he will get a call!!! LOL
@@Hunterworks I was on your website pricing them today actually! Lol in june I'm going to do the duraclutch and tracks. The clutch I will do my self, I could do the tracks but once again they say the only way tracks wont void that warranty is to have a dealer intstall polaris prospectors.
