Wow! Full scale tip, though: Have you tried to lift the nose to get a slower and steeper approach? Glide ratio is usually lower at slow speeds. In R/C, I mix a few percent of up elevator onto a slowdown switch. It's cheating, but it works.

My Excalibur lasted one flight very fast I had the brake turned on it went in full throttle I had nothing

Cheaters are vented slots in EDF fuse to allow extra air flow to the fan. They are not scale and you wont find them on real jets but they are a "cheat" to get better performance on a EDF.

@@FatGuyFliesRC "vented slots" like vortex generators or can you show me any examples? I find a lot of RC planes not quite scale due to a lot of things. Not having wing slats and/or not having elevons/incorrect tails.
