My truck had a 165 on it when I bought it with this delete bowl on it. Filter head had a bolt snap off on the primer plunger. So put a new head on it. Little did I know I had to remove the check ball on the new housing. Lmao. Took it for a drive and it threw codes. Came back and saw a forum post about factory filter having a thing that pushes the ball up. Then I found this video to confirm. Glad to know I wasn’t crazy!

Totally understand where your coming from here sir. With the addition of the FASS there really isn't a need for the factory filter, and this will eliminate that for you. By doing this it will save money on your filters as well eliminating the need to replace your factory fuel filter every 5-8k miles. If you have any other questions, or need anything at all you are always welcome to reach out to us via our tech line as well. 1-866-769-3747. Thank you sir!
That's correct! You'll still be able to remove any air from your fuel system by adjusting the FASS filters. If you have any questions on the priming process, give us a ring at 636-433-5410!
@@FASSFuelSystems I don’t own a FASS. But I’m running a AirDog 165G. And 3months (now ) my factory filter is leaking 🤦🏻♂️. So can’t you just completely remove the factory one ? Vs using a delete style kit like this ? I understand this FASS kit is probably a better option as you can always go right back stock. But just curious if it’s possible without any issues
