40 years ago! How can it possibly have been that long? It feels like a couple years only. I saw them on their first tour, and knew people who toured with them. Total memory flood watching this. ❤😊

Duran Duran got such a bashing from the “serious” music press. Paul Morley still gives them a hard time. They’re still playing together and making music together over 40 years since this so I don’t think they are going anywhere anytime soon. Duran Duran forever 😍

Thank you so much. I have been searching for this for decades. I recorded it on vhs in 1983 & it was a curated e180 tape that was a labour of love & then some member of my family taped over it whilst I was away at my first term at poly. I truly lost my shxt & my outburst was awful but it was my life’s work. Before editing you had to fill in gaps with precision waiting with fingers on play&record at just the right moment. Phew can you tell I’m delighted. I still need to find the itv special from 1983 for which I still have the copy of the tv times.
