This has got to be My absolute favorite remix of this terrific song! I have sat and listened to so many versions of this song looking for the perfect remix without it taking away from the original song structure and THIS IS IT! Fantastic job on this!!! Thank You so much for sharing this with Us!😊
I can never grow tired of listening to this music that Duran Duran has created especially with a long mix it's awesome a number one fan saying this song is forever a true classic .
@@johnnytorres3706 I discovered this song just a cup of days ago/not a fan of DD at all. But this is just unreal, ethereal. I can't stop beat it to death.
Never get old.... Beautiful song . ❤️ I grew up in the 80 s... Music was our life at school and still to This day . A fantastic talented band .. So Unique... 💛💛💛
@@kenyotag9145 it was written for Yasmin on her birthday. SLB has said it's about truly having "your person." He also has said once a song is released it now belings to the listener and what it means to each listener and that the listener's interpretation is just as important as his own. :)
I've been a fan of Duran Duran for decades and this is the one song that rings true no mater what generation you are. The mix on this song is absolutely phenomenal..I can't stop listening to the music. Thank-you Cliff!
I'm 50 years old. I live in a small town in Southern USA. I love my Waylon, Willie and D.A.C.. I bump them Jawja Boyz. I love my Classical music. And I reeeeeally don't like pop music at all today. But when I was 13,14,15,16 years old.... These boys ruled the scene. And I will ALWAYS be a Duran Duran fan and rock em out on 11!!!
I helped a buddy and took his little sister to one of their concerts and it was awesome evening that left a lasting impression. BTW I am 60 and an old rocker and a Duran Duran fan
As Simon Le Bon gained life experiences his lyrics hit a new level - none more so than when he’s talking about people close to him - this song talking about his wife, Ordinary World about losing his friend and She’s too much about his daughter. This is from deep within his heart and it shows. Awesome words
I'd have to agree with you first time I heard this song I was 10 and I knew it was meaningful same with much of the 80s bands such as depeche mode, Phil Collins, peter gabriel, tears for fears, the list could go on for days but that's a sign of having a soulful ear to know what's good even when you're not really aware of life at a young age
Wow..high school days..when it first came out..bought the album immediately..what a remix..still April 2020..still Come Undone..loved it here in the Philippines..💖🇵🇭📀💿👍
quelle belle chanson je trouve la mélodie et la voix du chanteur très sensuelle, genre de musique qu'on écoute en très grande intimité avec un homme qu'on désire très fort
THE Perfect song for this defining moment in time...."We'll try to stay blind to the hope and fear outside" Stay Safe, Sane, Happy and Healthy Everyone!! ♡♡♡AB
It is a quality song they released at the right time. It was ahead of all the techno, trance and synthesizer pieces of their contemporary fellow artists as for sweet melody, intelligent lyrics as well as arrangement with a very good music video supporting Duran's 90s uptempo ballad. Well done and still great to hear after all these years.
So easy to forget how good this was and still is, how lucky were we of a certain age to hear it first time round, when you listen to this and compare it to the dross that pollutes the airwaves and internet these days.
Oh thank you very much Cliff Dunsmuir!! This is a PERFECT Extended, my FAVORITE song by Duran Duran in 1993, the rhythm is so deep like water and interesting videoclip !! Have a nice day, 21 degrees celsius in Eastern Canada!!
Stunning Mix. It doesn't take away from original but adds so much. I listen to over and over never growing tired of it. Some movie should scoop up this mix up. Thank you for taking the time to create this and for sharing it. I am a huge fan of this mix.
Simon Le Bon can sing his ass off and these guys together are perfect chemistry. They are very creative and are in a league all there own. There musical legacy will live forever.
I'm 71 years of age and I have adored this song since I first heard it as a young man in the early 80's. It has an indefinable quality and beautiful key changes that make it so alluring.
Duran Duran produced their best stuff in the 90's in my opinion. I'm 46 and was in my mid teens when the 80's stuff was put out. Songs like "The Reflex" and "New Moon on Monday" are great songs, especially the 12" versions, however the late 80's and the 90's stuff was the best in my personal opinion.
Well said, although there are a couple favorites on every Album ooop's we don't say album any more I guess each release then. They just don't make this stuff any more so I appreciate all of it even more. I go through moods where Janes Addiction gets played other days "Euro" days I love this stuff. Depeche Mode was a group that I bought a remix set of 20 cd's with different stuff that was not released on anything else. Yes the do sound more Mainstream, But I'm not a mainstream guy. I'm 49 against all odds.
@@f.mazz.459 Because of my age, most of my contemporaries would automatically jump on the 80's bandwagon and curse the mid period stuff, but I can see past that blinkered view. Some of the early stuff was great, but some of it was also rubbish. I mean, "Electric Barbarella" from 1997 is a quality track thank that wouldn't sound out of place on one of the early albums.
I like working at night. No idea why, but i'm super focused at night. Having my headphones on with this playing on a volume which is probably too loud, is amazing!
