Lmao, yeah ik what you mean, but this one is a rare one that not many talk about. And that is why i pointed it out as "First". Their other interview is considered first bc they are all together, as you said, and its way before they travelled to USA. Plus Nick dyed his hair black much earlier, when he and John were starting the band. The blonde hair came later on when they were on the the Rum Runner and then released their first album.
You're right. It's actually very simple. If "Careless Memories "was the new single, then this is april 1981, a few months after their debut Planet earth. Hence how they look excactly the same in the careless memories video. There were also earlier interviews with Andy and Simon on British television, apart from the London street interviews herein mentioned,as well as interviews with John and Nick in Birmingham stating that Birmingham is a heavy metal city...😉
