I also don't know how Roger could have afforded to by a mansion sized home in 1979, when Duran Duran didn't have it's first hit until 1981....where did he get the money? ...and with the amount of touring they'd need to do at that time to get off the ground and become popular, it would not have made sense to buy a house that big and expensive, being on the road half the time.

You're right about the Queen mix-up. But Yasmin is in fact a Persian name and her father is Persian. The name is pronounced Yasmeen. In middle eastern names and words the letter i does not have a short sound as in "igloo", but rather is has an "ee" sound and this is true for many middle eastern languages including hebrew, arabic and farsi.

Hey, lots of people love Andy. One of my friends was literally obsessed with Andy! Most of my friends liked John the most. For others it was Simon (me too.) But I liked Simon, John, and Nick the most. Lots of people always love the lead guitarist in any band, but Simon was so in your face, so magnetic (you just had to fixate on him) I was sad when they got new members, b/c it's felt a little different. But I eventually I accepted it/them. So now I embrace all the people who have been in the band. DD FOREVER! 🌟
