Train assisted cycle ride in the late summer Cotswolds St. Edwards: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St_Edwa... St. Edwards church door: www.atlasobscura.com/places/s... Coln Rogers: www.britainexpress.com/counti...
That was a lovely ride. The churches were interesting. It is amazing to think that the one at Coln Rogers is almost 1000 years old, and nice to see your poppy still there. Nice filming too! In the 70s I borrowed my brother's copy of Lord of the Rings - it was a similar edition to yours and was quite a cult book at the time I think. Durin's church door was amazing to see. Yew trees can evoke such a sense of mystery and ancientness. I wonder how they came to be planted like that.
I’m really liking the direction you are taking your channel Andy it seems now that you are not time constrained by Audaxing you have time to tell the story and the camera work is also top notch.
Hi Andy, just to let you know that your filmed adventures are inspiring and really good to watch. You have given me quite a few ideas for my rides! As you have said before a ride is always more enjoyable if there is a purpose and destination involved so I wondered if you fancied some further ideas for trips? St Mary the Virgin in Ilmington nr Chipping Camden. Robert Thompson of Kilburn, N Yorkshire, otherwise known as 'Mouseman' (because he always left a carved signature mouse on his furniture) was commissioned to carve the pulpits and pews and left 11 'mice' in the church including the main door! Lovely village as well. Secondly All Saints Brockhampton in the Wye Valley - one of the most important arts and crafts buildings of early 20 century. The interior is incredible and there is a partially thatched roof. Also its a wonderful location. Keep up the good work! Huw
@@andysadventures3910 yeah, sure of that. Sadly hobbits night club is no longer. The murals on the walls were amazing!!! If I find out anything I’ll let you know x
