Durka! Kabul Airport Checkpoint RP 

Its come to my attention that a few of you disapprove of an op like this. While I will admit your opinions are irrelevant to the process of how ops are run, let me explain the history of how this op came to be: I thought of this while I was on vacation during the middle of the evacuation. I then put up a poll about running something like this within my main community and it was a *overwhelming* yes. Had it been anything below a 75% yes to 25% no ratio, we wouldn't have run this. I run what my community votes on. We do things for fun and laughs because everyone uses their time on the internet for a different reason. Some come for fun, some use it as escapism, and some use it to deal with trauma, and so on and so forth. I have strict rules based on my own moral code and ratios I follow, but at the end of the day its up to the playerbase to decide what we do and dont do. There's also a reason I waited so long to post this because this was run 3 weeks ago. If that doesn't sit well with you, I hope you feel the same way about CoD Mw2 with that No Russian mission. Go ahead and unsub and find some other horse to back.

Liru, I know what it is named after has left some deep wounds, but this op was what some needed to get the stress of real life out, I am glad that you are not afraid to do this and I am glad that you are an amazing person

Hey Liru, is there an official way to suggest ideas for ops? Because I think a Mexican Drug War op would be pretty interesting. More specifically one where the playerbase are Autodefensas (blufor), opfor being the cartel, and independent being the Mexican Army and whether they're on the playerbase's side or hostile to them would depend on their actions on the op. Players would start with handguns and legal civilian bolt actions but can steal military grade weapons from the cartel.

Shit from the moment i saw the title i figured this would be interesting. Don't worry much about peoples opinions as long as its not "outlandish" then generally if one person takes the time to complain, there's 5-15 others that don't give that much of a fuck and just enjoyed the content.

I would love to be able to see the ground view of this. Checkpoint RPs, especially this one, are full of stories that I would love to see

Liru, I'm a very big fan of yours, but I'm not quite sure if this is the way to go. The situation is very tense, brutal and real over there, and the wounds are still fresh. Maybe I am ovethinking, but making an op out of this currently very serious situation may not be the best. And I have to say, you certainly can't pull out of the responsibility by saying it's what the players want. You are the one who decided to go through with it and hopefully for a better reason than "I was told to do it". You still decide what you put on the table. All im saying is, please think it through before you go for it.
