that red bracket is a shipping brace it is to be removed That is the first thing the manual tells you to do but dont flip it up on end with oil in the engine drain it first as you run the risk of hydro locking the engine with oil leaking past the rings
For the watchers - this model specifies oil change every 20 hours use. It splashes and cavities the oil around and breaks down thus best to change that oil every day. Also for the splishy splash of the oil in the crank use the regular oil not synthetic/blends to get the oil to move in way intended.
@@ArcadiyIvanovI own this model - My manual does not say that - BUT likely different print or maybe changes who knows on these - I just triply checked. I have loads of the old school true full synthetic… does it state interval time difference at all?
I have the XP12000EH DuroStar (same company). I have owned it now for 5 years. I change the oil after I use it with Mobil1 10W30. I drain the fuel after every use, and it runs flawlessly.
@@HeyJudeTampa 1. Remove shipping braces. The shipping braces prevent engine movement during shipment. Flip the generator over and remove the brightly colored brace between the motor and the frame, and the wood brace under the generator.
@@HeyJudeTampaWhy u educate us on youtube - how dare you! 😂. Thanks for the great vid. Q: The wittle red bracket below the engine got removed by now right? Some of the commenters are wondering. 😊
