@@spoki89 2 years later i stumbled upon this comment. The potential of shadowbolt from back when i was playing was about 12k, but never managed to get it in real time pvp. For soulfire was about 15-17k
played since release. I know this game more than anything. this lock is a pro player for real. @3:03 though... is enough to change your mind. well played.
Can someone help please; see when he 'vanishes' the spell at 0:45, is that gnomish cloaking device? And it works like vanish if you time it right to avoid the spell?

I might be asking this a little too late. But what's the addon that tracks de debuff timers on your target? You can even see the priest "weakness" debuff after he uses power word shield
Hello, I came back to playing WoW after some years, and I was wondering if you could share some advice against Rogues since they are a Warlocks pain in the bum. Maybe your talent tree and some leveling. Great video, clean, not too many effects and I can see what abilities you use.
If you're like me and clicked the link from wowhead classic to get to this video, you might have noticed a couple things that don't work. You cannot buff yourself with all three ranks of detect invis. And you cannot keep your Demon Armor on when you use spellstone because it removes it. Unless there's something I'm missing to make them work?
How is the addon called wich shows the dot durations like in bc ? Im playing on a vanilla realm and its horrible not to know how long your debuffs dots and what ever last
You should never have it on auto, then it chooses the first magic that goes up. You should have it bound to an easily accessible key. I have a macro that devours myself on my 2 key, "/cast [target=Blorgish] Devour Magic(Rank 4)" Another i have for Devouring someone else, Shift 2. You should never autocast pet spells
Always thought warlocks were such a cool class. Required knowledge of a lot of different class skills to be good back pre-BC whereas mages could just relied on the usual 7-8 moves.
There's always a comment talking about how op warlocks are and how they need to be nerfed or banned yet it's the least played class. They aren't as op as some people make them out to be. There are reasons they are the least played class and soul shards is only one of them
Shadow Priest didn't really get good until late TBC/early WOTLK. MP5 issues were just too much to overcome and trying to wand people to death with shit dot damage wasn't enjoyable in the slightest. Even if you were good at it you couldn't do enough to be useful. More chance just trying to outlast as a healing Priest than as Shadow.
shadow priests are really good, but lock is just unbeatable by anyone, especially in SL spec, but lock need pet to be summoned and a lot of soulshards to be effective and specs that does not require usage of lots of soulshards aren't that powerful. On the other hand, shadow priest is plain strong and better in mass pvp because instant AOE fear and the most effective manaburn in the game. Shadow priest's problem is GEAR ... it is R13 gear or at least T2.5 full set and that's pretty much it. U can get few epics with shadow or spelldamage... but it is very hard to get gear in general. Properly geared lock is any t2 lock around, properly geared shadow priest is a unicorn )
@@Peppuhsteakcarryout SL is the most powerfull and broken build 1v1 vs any class in the game. Ruin is fun and better for BG runs, because SL consumes a lot of shards and summoning pet on bg is very annoying.
@@obeybosss many things you said are pretty wrong. First yes SL is the best 1v1 spec for warlock but it is still countered by rogue with similar gear level and cooldowns ready. Ruin is nice for bgs, especially WSG because of the burst potential and longer range (SL/shadow burn only has 30 y range compared to 36 with Conflag/NF or SM/ruin), but all warlock specs consume a TON of shards in BGs because of shadow burn. In fact, SL tends to use less shards than lets say Conflag/NF because with fire specs you tend to use soul fire more (which uses shard). You don't often summon new pets in bgs, usually it's better to fight until you die since you res with a new pet. Also, SL has some flag carrying potential in wsg because of the tankiness and is super hard to counter in 1v1 / 1v2 scenarios in AB, so in the end it's a very nice spec to use for BGs too.

@@PrinceVega lol undead isnt even meta for anything but horde group pvp. And there gnome is just better. Gotta love how many rolled undead for classic though :D
He has finesse with the helm, tidal charm, grenades, nets, that sleeping trinket, but he just needed to work on basics getting his triple instant dots out before trying to cast fear say on a hunters pet.
@@randomdude4722 hes 100% right this lock is playing wrong on many levels. pretty bad use of cds and fears, bad damage rotation and obvious bad plays (1:12 : he's using spell lock and coil at the same time on same target so 1 cd is purely wasted).
Feenix used a 2.0.0 patch instead of a vanilla patch for their core, which is why there was zero cc delay and they made their own tweaks such as mid air reflectors and cloaking/stealthing spells Which is why feenix was the most superior pvp server ever made in vanilla Crestfall will use a similar patch if it ever releases
Ah this was feenix, thought it was nostalrius due to the upload date my bad. I remember there was a hunter vid where they FD + shadowmelded spells as well
Horde mostly are undead for wotf and shaman with tremor totem can remove fears so ally lock is harder to play since most of your fears are countered. Horde lock probably the most OP class with seduce nuking where as ally lock probably the hardest class to play haha.
Demiurge13 and both can be escaped from by any undead. Try getting fear off 3 times when you’re trying to 2v1 a couple of warlords and let me know how it goes.
@@Demiurge13 when they use WOTF they have 5 seconds of immunity as well as a fear break. most classes can get back in your face and then your not getting another fear cast off.
Hey which race do you prefer the most for locks? I keep hearing Orcs but I like the appeal of Undead. I'd rather min max though instead of regretting my choice later on.

@@4ff3 In a world where you will get kicked for nkt keeping up with overly pulled speed runs ( Because strategy and logic has be abandoned " players wont put up with or be able to handle the fact that instances take actual time to finish, and you cant just get a full pvp set from doing just 20 battles... more like 100 - 150.. Yeah... you'll see what i mean.
