If you really love vanilla, you should play wow classic era. These dumb private server corrupt admin fanatics love to wipe people's progression to fuel their Argentian hoe-fund wallet.
I tried Duskhaven today because of your video and I have to say I'm having a lot of fun! The new classes and class changes look great and I feel like I'm playing a whole new expansion. I would definitely recommend this server to people, at least for a test.
Thanks for taking a peek at Duskhaven. Glad to hear your input on the server. We are actively polishing up the server and hope when people take a look at our future updates they'll come back and take a peek again.
I would recommend Guildfront for those who want not too custom WotLK experience but some Guild System features that could have come straight from Blizzard 😊
Despite the low population and buggy content, I love Duskhaven and have had a blast leveling there. They’ve really got some cool ideas with mythic+ and custom classes that appeals to me a lot more than Turtle does. It’s got a long way to go but it’s been getting a lot of good updates lately 😊
Hamster, you should do an update someday on chromiecraft. I’m loving it right now, they just released heroics a few weeks ago and they’re tuned perfectly. Obviously I say “you should” but making videos takes time and we’re all happy to see this video and hear about your family!
I havent heard anything about this server since like 3 months before tbc launched on the origional version. Glad to know this vanilla plus version is out! hope it can keep more than 20 players :(
My immediate go to when looking at these servers is "is there changes to smite priest" and there was a whole section of changes specific for it so I might take a looksy.
Hey! Just wanted to share my experience on Duskhaven(23 days played now), my go-to server these days. Population-wise, it's around 100 to 200 players, so it's not super crowded. Pugging raids can be a bit tougher now, but the good news is there are plenty of guilds that welcome new players. Joining a guild makes raiding a breeze! The class changes on Duskhaven are amazing. They've introduced shaman tanks, tinkers, dual wield rets, and even bards(and more)! So many cool options to try out and enjoy. We've also got Aq20, Aq20 (H), and Aq40 released, with Aq40 (H) coming soon (There are already released custom raids such as Azshara crater and Emerald dream) Exciting new raid content to dive into ! If you're looking for a server, give Duskhaven a shot. The smaller community size doesn't matter that much because the guilds are friendly and open to newbies. Trust me, you'll find a welcoming home here! Come join us on Duskhaven.
I really like duskhaven! I did play there for about 3 months but my addiction for wow was taking over so it was better for me and my family to stop playing. If that didnt happen i would definetly still be playing on duskhaven Shoutout to the amazing guild Exodus🎉
i didnt test raiding, but did 1 mythic +2, what i didnt like is if more than 1 guy have key, u all need to click at same time to turn in, retri was really fun to play
well i managed to install and play, and was dismayed to find out there are only like 65 guys in the entire server is the population really that abysmal or are they like full on the weekend?
I genuinely liked this server despite its custom content being very rough about the edges, but what killed the experience for me was the abundance of lag at peak times even with their comparatively low population. Duskhaven has a ton of potential and the devs working on it clearly have a passion for it, but it will never take off if they don't upgrade their servers to be capable of handling more than 150 people reliably.
This is exactly why I stopped playing there too. I jumped on the hype train the server had a little while back with 1500+ people online and had a blast. Everything above 1k ppl online was unplayable. Like you pressed an ability and there was a delay of 0.5-2 seconds. That was not acceptable for me and killed the experience.
@@HamsterWheelGaming yes you're right but as u said in the video the world does seem a lot more empty, but i do agree that the server is definitly playable and still a ton of fun. In my top 5 favorite pservers for me personally.
The population is low but the community is pretty friendly and active. Most of the endgame content is mythic+ so you only need a constant group of 5-man’s.
My issue with DuskHaven after trying it for a few weeks was the unstable servers. Made it to level 35 before abandoning it, but due to constant dropping servers I'm back to Warmane full time
So it is the worst of both worlds? Wrath leveling experience (LFG, no group difficulty quests etc) AND no new continent (or Arthas)? Tried to play WotLK, on official server. Dropped it at level 5. Maybe this "mixture" is appealing to some players.
PLAY THIS SERVER! ITS ALREADY AMAZING WITH A SMALL POP AND COULD ONLY GET BETTER WITH MORE PLAYERS! BY FAR THE BEST V+ PRIVATE SERVER EXPERIENCE OUT THERE RN IMO AND THE HERO CLASSES/CUSTOM CLASSES AND RAIDS R DOPE!
Raids are way to easy and buggy as hell, Noxx constantly making changes with no announcements, broken custom classes, and a very Low pop dew to the previous problems. Play if you want but it is definitely not the best. It feels like a Beta.
@@DivineMultiForceAll private servers are buggy when they first start out. It’s got a long way to go but it’s getting better. Keep in mind that it’s ran by a two-man team but they’re working hard to improve the server. The population is low but the community is much friendlier and less toxic than Turtle. I played Turtle for a month and just didn’t find it all that fun.
@@DivineMultiForceThey announce all upcoming changes in a changelog, you have to pick a role to get notified tho. They also got a QA team recently so new raids will be smooth and from what I've heard the difficulty is gonna skyrocket for upcoming HC and custom ones
It had 1k-1.5k pop from the end of February till early late April and then people mostly got bored with it i myself was suprised it tanked that much to 150 pop honestly. Edit: My take i played it for around 2 months and a half and it was fun but got bored with pretty quickly now even with new raids released and s3 M+ on the horizon i dont think id go back just cause ive already played the classes and kinda got bored of em myself.
@@wtbskilllololo That’s understandable really. That’s how I am with most private servers. I think they’re fun to jump in for a few weeks when new content comes out and rotate to the next when you’re bored. Duskhaven is still super young, it’s got a long way to go if you look at servers that have been around for years but I think it has potential now that they’ve brought on some QA testers.
new classes... more like festerous sores leaching off another already existing class. I guess "new spec" didnt sound as exciting because really thats all they are.
You say they use a Wrath 3.3.5 repack but end game is level 60 locked....does this mean you cannot actually get to Outland and Northrend as i imagine those areas would show up on a 3.3.5 server. I ask as i am very interested as i help design and script write wow emulation repacks Best wishes and glad to hear you are getting on well with Mini Hamster.
its a real shame...frustrating changes like certian dungeon having chance to give you zero loot or buggy content in general made me stop playing there. Maybe they need half a year of bug fixing and making the right changes before it becomes good. Currently the population is so low its impossible to find people for Dungeons / Raids. The random sudden changes are huge deal breaker for me too.
Population is around 100 people nowdays. Theres no reason to start now as its barrren. You can hardly make M+ group or dungeon finder. Started when pop was over 1k, decline was really fast theres probably zero hope until end of summer whne people start to play again more.
You should try Whitemane Cataclysm next. I’ve been playing there for a few weeks and it’s a great server. It’s a little janky pre-80, but they’re doing a lot of work and offer a free 60-80 boost + boosted BG experience. The quality of life is great though with all flight paths unlocked, free riding training, racial swap and 3 levels per BG win.
I think this is actually one of the best vanilla private servers. They've made all the classes WAYYYY more playable than they ever were. Every spec is pretty good and the content is fun. I like the mythic dungeons but I just wished the gearing system was a little better with more loot from the mythics, like specific loot from specific mythics as opposed to it being one big loot table
In my opinion Duskhaven is something else then a "Vanilla+" server. I feel like the people that like this server are the same people that would like playing current retail WoW, because it's a retail version of Vanilla WoW. When I think of a "Vanilla+" server then I think of something that's very close to the original Vanilla, not a replica of retail WoW. Mythic+ was one of the many reasons why I quit retail.
