Thanks very much for this video with very detailed workflow of how to get to the lens internals. Because of this video I was able take apart my beloved AF-S 70-200 F/2.8 VR and clean fungus from one of the inner glass elements. I saved my lens and I am happy to use it again! 📷

hi, came here because a similar fungus problem with my AF 70-200 f/2.8 VR.....as I am about to start the process I wonder what procedure you followed to clean the fungus off the glass? thks

after watching this I think I will save a great deal of money cleaning some fungus from a very well priced lens thank you for your video mike , you have gained a subscriber for sure very clear and detailed video mike thank you

Cheers again mate. I never had to use glue on the focus repair. By pushing all around, and cleaning everything. Once put together with cleaned rubber too (tooth brush and warm water with vinegar) it focused well. Only stuck one in 108 attempts. Im gathering tools watching you. Buying dental pick set.
