Hmm, the part where they explain why pax doesn't like robots doesn't make the writing better. She doesn't like robots cause she doesn't feel safe around people she can't control with her powers. How fucking horrible of a character is that? She can't be decent to something unless she can push it off at any moment. That's the game preaching us about being open minded lol

A game where nobody respects the rules of conversation? Sounds made for a "modern" type of person, alright, but they won't buy this game, so what's the point? We already have a THIRD Life Is Strange coming out. Edit: Do I hear FOUR! Four Life Is Strange games. I was mistaken; I thought True Colors was 2. That's 3. Fuck.

The man cave thing is weird. This is a supposedly alternate timeline with a lot of gender neutral crap everywhere. Man Cave terminology came about in the 90s. Would it have even become a term in this alternate reality? The oldest looking (and man) character doesn't know about it yet another does? They didn't even try on the label either. If they put serving size, they have to put servings per container. Weird, super lazy game.

this is literally "a message turned into an entire experience: the game". And it was supposed to be a representation of "Trump's America", according to one of the dev interviews. If I meet someone who thought this "game" was thought-provoking and intelligent, I would be very concerned about that person than someone who says "Postal 2/Manhunt/Grezzo 2 is my favorite game ever". Signalis only had two people working on the game, and it was a much more lasting experience that I still think of today. It left me quite an impact like Silent HIll 2 did. There were more people working on this game and I couldn't finish the video (though the peanuts part was hilarious, nice catch). hell, I don't care about pride month but I had a much better time with The Missing: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories, and I'm glad I was able to experience that without any prior knowledge (except that it was made by the guy of Deadly Premonition). If any, Dustborn tried to gaslight you to thinking that having no self control of your emotions, and trying to control people is cool, and it failed big time. The people who cry "Nazis/Fascists" are much closer to what they believe they are against.

Oh man, the PEANUTS. People love overexaggerating how bad something is, for clicks and dramatics, which I find pretty annoying, but _Dustborn_ genuinely surprised me by its badness. I was left perplexed how this could've been released. Because I don't like being wholly negative, I'll say I liked the comic aesthetics (both in the comics themselves and in some of the in-game assets), I like the way they show old text (color-coding the characters and adding an icon helps make reading through it much easier), and like the cel-shaded style of the character models, but aside from visuals, it's a hot mess with major mixed messaging. It's all about disinformation and combatting it, and thus one's power is to... spread disinformation? What? I know there's something about "I learned empathy" at the end, but it felt out of left field, and I don't remember them ever coming to terms with "Oh, maybe Cancelling and Triggering and what have you is bad." Whenever anyone showed fear and distrust to the "anomals," I kept thinking "They have a point," and aside from the fact that the power-abusing characters are the ones we're playing as, even the narrative doesn't disprove these NPC's statements. A "bad" NPC says "They're dangerous and manipulative," and then the narrative shows that, indeed, they are dangerous and manipulative. Yet somehow, the NPC calling it out is wrong...? It was very weird.

I just want to say something. NOAM'S APARTMENT IS THE EXPENSIVE APARTMENT FROM GTA ONLINE. Like, these devs were so lazy they couldn't even design an apartment, instead having to plagiarize one of the MOST PLAYED games... IT EVEN HAS THE TELESCOPE?!

3:20 Not to counter-nitpick, but if Sai pulled the car over to the shoulder (as you're supposed to when a police or emergency vehicle flashes), then traffic would indeed continue in the same direction as the car, because their car is now on the shoulder and the truck that struck the officer was in the lane they just pulled out from. Not disagreeing that the game seems multiple kinds of terrible, but I don't think that particular "mistake" is actually a mistake.

It's amazing how much the poor speech timing, bad animations, bad writing, and awful gameplay puts this big expensive game about on par with the games in the subject of steam dumpster diving videos.

... why would you multiply the calories by the ration size? The rarion size is indicating how much ia in the bag... just 57... so it's that actual amount of calories within the bag total, no math needed... The bigger question would be why were the protein level of the peanuts so low... Nonone ever addressed this: The lady that was stuck under the bus... how did she get under there in the first place if the jack was nowhere near the bus?

I think that the in the scene with the policeman, their car is in the roadside/shoulder and when the policeman step.back, he is getting into the road line that the grroup and the policeman were coming from when he asked them to stop. So the car that ran him over was coming from the correct situation. But maybe I'm wrong as I haven't played the game 😅

3:12 Pretty sure this isn't an issue as there's the markings for a passing lane between the lanes, so that truck was just trying to avoid stopping behind the police car/avoiding crashing into it, as it looked like it was going at a considerably high speed and from the angles presented in the video it doesn't look like they pulled off the shoulder. Pointing this out, however, has made me realize something else: why the hell does this highway have a shared two-way lane? Where the hell are the other lanes? I refuse to believe that this road is meant to be a quieter backroad as it has barriers in the middle like a highway, and in some shots you can see the big billboard-like signs that tell you which exits to take to go where (the specific term for those escapes me at the moment.) There's only two reasons why I could think the developers would make a highway look this unrealistic: either they didn't put much thought into displaying a more realistic/sensible environment, or, and this is really out there, they didn't want to risk putting in a multi-lane road into the game since the first example of one was the Autobahn in Germany, and we all know who was very interested in further development of that system for wartime efforts...
