Dustin Latimer is one of the Legends of the Aggressive Blading Scene. He had a Pro Shadow in 2003 and a second Pro Shadow in 2006.
( Size 10.5 ) Each skate weighs 4 lb 11 ounces
Now 25 Years on what better way to celebrate 25 Years than to release a 25 Year Anniversary Shadow.
Skate and walk, the first and only aggressive skate that offers
the best of both worlds, a fully functional shoe, and liner for
walking as well as top-notch skating for grinding, sliding and
jumping
Comes with a replaceable soulplate made out of long-lasting
glass-fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) - GFK

So excited about this skate! OG Latimer Xsjado was one of my faves, this seems like a great modernization of that skate.

The original shoes made by Salomon had the notches in the back to prevent heel lift, it was when Powerslide first took over that they stopped making the shoes that way. Glad to see they brought that feature back!

these look great, appreciate the honest review. Nice to see the difference to the newer release one. Good points on the part replacement. Cool logo too. I haven't tried these...haven't skated in forever.

I just want to be able to buy the footwraps separate for these. I managed to snag a Stockwell 2.0 skeleton new for dirt cheap and would like a pair of footwraps. I have read Adidas sambas and Asic tigers fit like a glove for them but rather have the footwrap meant to go on the OG Xsjados.

Not sure how you got these so early, but I've known I was getting them since they were announced. Question 1: The soul plates look like they are mounted with Phillips head screws instead of hex key bolts, so is it different hardware, or am I imagining things? Second: How is the fit of the foot wrap in comparison to the other one you have? The sizing between the different sole of the shoe is about a half size difference for me. In the Salomon produced wraps I was perfectly comfortable in a solid 8, where as the USD model with the more flatly designed sole I need to size up in, and I really want to avoid having to return them.

Phillips, Sizing feels good on them I wear a size 10.5 or 11 on the original Xsjado and these feel wider w more comfort, feel great at 10.5 but would advise to try on as some people want more toe room. Skates are awesome

Anyone know if these are going to be a retail drop? Or just pre-orders? Also what stateside stores are going to have them? Have only found a pre-order page for them from an English company whooshskatesworldwide... Insight to obtaining would be fantastic, these are going to sale like hot cakes!
