@@JopJio He was getting frustrated against gaethje in the second fight because he couldn't land much on him and because gaethje's boxing had improved, not to mention the salt Lake elevation fcked him over and he was visibly gassed then justin just boom cracked his skull THROUGH HIS FOREARM
This is actually one trilogy I could do without, we all know how it’s going to go after 2 amazing fights and the damage that they’re going to take, actually enjoy seeing how they’ve stacked up to the new ranked guys but maybe if they’ve both still got it and it’s a title fight down the line
Taking a break after getting knocked out is what a lot of fighters should do and he made the right choice. Too many guys get knocked out and try to get back to it too fast just to get knocked out again.
I have been KO'd twice playing hockey, most people have no clue how long it takes to be 100% again! The last one took me a solid year to be even close to normal again.
I see nothing but excuses. Justin won the entire fight. He put damaging Shots and hurt dustin many times. Justin Was a complete New improved fighter compared to their first fight. I see Justin Winning the third fight again
@@user-hb5dj6ni3o oh this is a fact! If there is any holes in his game its the ground/wrestling. Against good opponents he can get it done but against elite wrestlers ...(Islam/ khabib) i think its a L for dp. I still fux wit em tho ⏸
They take years off of each others lives everytime they step into the cage together they've given us two absolute barn burners I'd be ok if they didn't have a tie breaker
Only if it's for the belt. I'm actually enjoying these guys going up against the younger generation. It's win-win for me as a fan. I really enjoy it when the legends win but it's also only fair to give the guys below the top 4 a chance to show what they've got
@@JonathanGonzalez-jz4tdit’s almost better if they don’t leaves years of debates and to wonder what would happen is almost better than 1 of them losing as there both amazing. Justin got KO HARD AS HELL at 300 as well. Dam. I didn’t know max had power like that. He himself always joked they call me pillow hands Holloway. He said he was stronger than ever tho and ppl would see the difference. Gotta love max Ime the best boxer in the ufc Holloway 😂
@@jonathanvaldez6565 watching that live was amazing. Really happy Dustin won. He won't be champ and that's fine. But I was not gonna be cool with him losing to that Frenchie.
@@JstPF-93 It's possible that he may have a better time against Islam as opposed to Khabib. But it needs to happen ASAP. He doesn't have forever. Most people don't know he turned pro in 2009. That's a long time.
it was strange because Dustin wasn't completely out, he was looking at the lights on his back but his body got shut down, wouldn't be surprised if he remembers it
That judgement call that the fighters make “Are they hurt enough to go finish?” Is soooo tough. I’ve seen many men blow all their energy when they thought someone was more hurt than they actually were, and then there’s this situation where he may have been more hurt than Dustin thought. Craaaazy shit man
well its also how they go about going for the finish. Alot of guys just started punching crazely trying to finish and gas themnselves out where as if they threw some knees and elbows, they would find more success.
DP is an MMA legend who brings it every fight for the fans. Outside the ring, he brings it for humanity. We need more men like Dustin in this world right now.
How can you not respect Poirier Loves to fight and loves a war and is willing to see who breaks first, giving what the fans want to see . Most of time he comes out on top. This guys resume is crazy. He’s a veteran and his team & him have navigated his career really well. Congratulations DP, already fought his way to legendary status. As difficult as will be to grab that belt from Makhachev I’d love to see him get that strap before he sets the gloves down. Respect due !
My favorite fighter of all time. Not just because of how he performs in the octagon, but how he is outside of the ring is inspiring. Dustin is a champ in LIFE, just a good solid dude. We need more men like this nowadays
Eventhough he got KOed, eventhough I'm french supporting BSD, I could not think it would be an easy fight or be confident enough in a BSD win. I've watched DP fight enough times to know that he's a legend of the sport and that's why I wasn't surprised when he won. Congrats to the Diamond, you are a great fighter 👌
Dustin one of the few to come back after justin fight still able look good. Most neverh fully leave shadow realm, i hope max Holloway can mitigate the incoming damage...
@@BasedPeanutButterEnjoyerthe stupidest people in the world i swear 😂😂, these guys claim the Mac is irrelevant at this point in the ufc but can’t stop talking about the guy thus contradicting themselves alone 😭
Bro watched Gaethje got down against Max. At this level … for MOST fighters … it’s any given day your reign ends. It’s the marshaling of will to come back stronger. Even in defeat there is growth. ☮️
DP is a straight savage. Especially against that French Special Forces dude. He already had my respect, but after that fight ill never doubt him again until its over
It's such a 50/50 fight. Both are monsters that can KO one another at any time in a fight. Dustin's pure boxing vs Justin's kickboxing is really entertaining stuff.
As much as I hated to see it part of me was happy because it put them at 1-1 and you KNOW the UFC will try to do the trilogy if neither of them retires.... Imagine that fight being for the undisputed belt, that would be amazing.
Poirier and Gathje are 2 of my fav fighters out there...hopefully we see a 3rd fight and hope they both make a ton of money off it because they deserve it!
