That was no b.s Dustin was for sure tired. You can tell after round one he was gassed a bit. That’s allot of back to back wrestling. I’ve wrestled for years and nothing will get you more tired faster then having a guy weigh on you trying to take you down. Even the leg locked around the body feels like a elephant is squeezing you so that gas’s toy out too.

I agree. He did look a little tired at certain moments, and I’m sure he was from all the grappling. But it gets so annoying when Joe will constantly comment the same thing over and over again. I love his podcast but his commentary can be so repetitive and biased.

Whoever isn't an even bigger fan of BSD after this fight is a casual. That first round performance was pure Michael Chandler. He got caught by a lack of experience and by an animal that is Poirier. BSD has a bright future in LW.

@@itsmdm6453 yeah imma admit, it was a very Long line. But eventually when I got in front of the line I was trying so hard not to fanboy since Dustin’s my favorite fighter in the UFC. When it was my turn as I walked up to him, he and I dapped eachother up and after that I said “Sorry if I’m a bit hesitant to speak but…I watched a lot of your fights on pay-per-view and you easily became my favorite UFC fighter.” He thanked me for the support and I then said “heck I even went to UFC 299 in Miami where you were on the co-main against Saint-Denis, I was on the middle-level of the arena so I could kinda see ya in the ring if not use the Jumbotron to watch the fight.” I Talked to him about the right hook and him telling me he felt it connect after the left he did. As for the photo I suggested for the faceoff after the first one which was a normal one I asked him “Would you be okay if we do one more pic this time maybe a faceoff like we’re about to throw down?” He said “Sure, a few people before you wanted to do it against me” to which I said “well glad I’m not the only one.” Then got in a fighting stance with fists up and said “Alright. when your ready, Dustin” and he did the same thing. Hopefully you do meet him.

Did you watch the fight? You really can't see why some had Benoit winning? He dominated him for most of the fight, this was not an easy fight for Dustin.

Dustin had a very good chance of winning even without the KO coz BSD absolutely could not maintain that pace.
