..l have 2- friends.. Dutch brothers who have been our family friend for over 40- years! They are Beer 🍻 drinkers to the bones.. First Time they came to the Philippines..the eldest of them downed 12-bottles of Red Horse 🐴 beer without blinking an eye!..and he wanted More. To politely turn him away...the restaurant owner said there is no more beer...then he saw a bottle of Tanduay Long neck..which he said he would settle for that one. He finished the long neck and asked for a serving of mango ice cream ...which The Dutch love ❤️ very much...to wash away the after tastes..🤣 This might sound unbelievable but wait till you drink with the Dutch. Lambanog is the only Philippine liquor they drink with extreme caution... They love the PHILIPPINES.. they took Filipina wives...
Good to know that he likes it... san miguel beer has a long history of brewery... morethan 150 years of patronizing in the service for the filipino people... thumbs up
@@elizaldedominguez2231 being drunk when drinking San Mig takes a lot because you can easily decrease the alcohol by just peeing and it's a light beer.
Pale Pilsen for me is on top of the list though I love Heineken and Red horse. Nice content by the way mam. Love how they honestly give us their feedback, insight, comparative analysis, judgment or whatever you call it. Hehehe. Learned a lot from them.
Good job! Honest review from beer experts :) I recommend Cerveza Negra for them to try since it's composed of roasted pilsen malt. It has the right balance of bitterness, sweetness and a creamy, frothy head. (lol! I feel I'm in the commercial)
I haven't had a beer for almost 16 years, because I'm not capable of drinking responsibly. Thank you for this opportunity to live vicariously through you. 😃
My brother in law is a Dutch. He really likes drinking SMB Pilsen & Red Horse when he took vacation in the Phil's. especially while looking to all people passing by or just "tambay" in a big open field.
i visited the netherlands way back in 93'! i stayed with a friend in spijkinsse and traveled to the haag! i came to visit a lot of dutch pubs and to my surprise, one pub had a very old san miguel beer in their collections! how did i know it was very old? the bottle was a little bit taller than the current pilsen bottle and.... it had the cap with the wire to open it! like the ones that whiskey bottles used to have! the netherlands have a lot of varieties of beer, but compared to germany, it's nothing! in germany, i like kölsch beer and their dark lager! the worst beer to order is the kölsch, you have to order way ahead of time, because it takes time for the bubbles to settle and fill a glass!
Scientifically, it is better to have foam because the gases that had built up in the fermentation process would be released. It was usually argued that pouring the beer at an angle would reduce the foam, which is correct, but that just means the gases aren't released as much, which leads to having that bloated feeling more.
When I was in Spain,Barcelona, Madrid, everywherere specially in the Hotel, Restaurant, Resort, Club,Grocery Stores I was shock that Pilipino beers specially in Europe’s right now is a popular demand ,I was in a merchant Marines before I travelled everywhere’s all over the world, after my contract as a Sailor my family migrates in the USA year 1985 until I follow to my family, I lived there up to now more than 35 years to comes, i missed travel a lot specially in Europe’s .

Red horse impact is not felt at once but later. You can get drunk easily with Red Horse. In my college days I can drink Red Horse up to 5 bottles but the hangover the next morning is terrible so what I do is I get up early at about 3 am, have a cold shower and drink a glass of red horse then go to sleep again.
Before the Pale Pilsen their is Cerveza Negra, that beer also brewed by San Miguel is the best. I know you cab buy Cerveza Negra in Europe since it is export quality, that beer is rare here in our country. They can also try other San Miguel beers like San Miguel premium all malt beer, San Miguel super dry, San Miguel flavored beer, San Mig light, San Mig strong, & San Mig zero.
San Miguel pilser beer is GERMAN beer recipe given to SPAIN...Cerveza Negra mean (Dark Beer in Spanish) is simultaneously like Ginniish Irish beer...let's toast to that.. CHEER... for sure... Have a Jolly good time I say..ta- ta for now....Giorgio R. Messina..
New subscriber here watching from Toronto,Canada. My father's side of the family, has Dutch heritage, yeahhh. Proud Fil-Canadian here from Iloilo city.. I love Heineken..
Pale Pilsen is the best. Its formula came from Bavaria,Germany since the beginning of its production, That's according to a chemist friend of mine in San Miguel Brewery here in the Philippines.
San Miguel beer is called the old Spanish Empire beer and older than American Budweiser...Spanish Empire went Bankrupt 8 times and Spain borrowed loan from the HASBURG EMPIRE ( GERMAN Nobles)...The German gave Spain the German beer recipes to pay them back the loan...the RED HORSE beer represents WAR and famine that war was the SPANISH/ AMERICAN WAR...the rich Chinese family of the Philippines bought 1/ 2 the company's stock, but it's really the old SPANISH EMPIRE beer of SPAIN!!!!....you should try the San Miguel GIN and Tonic to cure MALARIA in Asia!!!....I'm sure...well have a Jolly Good time...ta- ta for now... Giorgio R. Messina....
Mga dutch nasa at Europeans , nasa history nila uminom alak keysa tubig noon una panahon at malamig sa lugar nila , maganda pangpa init sa katawan Ang alak pag winter.
The taste of the brew is more important than the alcohol content. They gave their highest opinion to Red Horse. Both San MIG Pale Pilsen and Red Horse represent the best of the Philippines.
I'm a Filipino, my favourite is pale Pilsen when I was still working in a private school, my type of job is physically and mentally demanding when I go home I make sure that I drink pale Pilsen to ease my stress and to relax my mind..
They actually made bottles of Red Horse that had a smiling horse instead of the normal one. But if you think that the horse is laughing at you you might have taken too much beer.
