What you could do is after you put your hair into the ponytail, braid or twist it and then pin it to the left or right of the pony tail holder. Then once you put the fake hair over the top, it will lay flatter.
It's really pretty but the two hair textures don't really go together like the braiding hair looks nice and natural an your hair looks really slicked back.
