Saw Killer Kahn first time on WWWF 📺 and he scared the 💩 out of me!! Scary looking with a bald head and a tiny short tail of hair on the top of his head!!! He screamed when he did moves... thx for the memories Kahn!😊

The Killer Khan v Terry Gordy match from Dallas is one of best brawls of 1980s.

I remember that match because it was the most violent match I ever seen.

My first favorite heel. When I first started watching wrestling in 1977, Khan was in Florida feuding with Dusty. He had it all for a monster heel. Very sad news.

Khan was a great monster heel. He had great matches in Mid-South and especially World Class.

James, when you go to Japan, try for perhaps a brief interview with his family. Let them know for us how appreciative fans are of his legacy.

Remember Khan well around 1980 he was in classy(vampire) freddie blassie stable with hulk hogan and stan (lariet) hansen ,not swede, all knew then this was one of feared teams ever with demoltion, road warrior, power of pain, 4 horseman, the grahams etc,,,..

KK breaking Andre's leg was one of the first wrestling mags I remember seeing. as a kid we (4 boys) were limited to what we could watch. we would tend to emulate what moves we saw. no injuries. Just NOISE! so I'd walk a few blocks to a local newsstand (the owner knew my dad from hanging out there as a teen.) and I'd look through the wrestling mags to find out the news. the owner was so nice. as long as I didn't fold or tear anything he'd let me read for hours. (odd that I didn't like the library though. a library was a place with books, magazines and newspapers. us old people went there to read and get info.)

As famous an attraction as Andre the Giant was, he was not known for very many famous angles. Hogan, of course. John Studd. And Killer Khan might be his great foe since there was a sense that this man could have done damage to the Giant!

How about that one Japanese guy who was doing shoot kicks on Andre?
