As a big fan of the NWA, Mid-Atlantic, Georgia, Jim Crockett Promotions I had a hard time seeing WCW because I saw it as the successor of those earlier brands. It wasn’t until I was able to tell myself it was a different entity altogether that I was able to reconcile it.

For some reason WCW wasn't shown in the Yorkshire region. I used to watch it on the German channel DSF when we first got Sky.

@@matthewcollins8602 I've never been there. But Since they had a lot of TV equipment and TV set lights, you know they air conditioned the building. So that alone makes it better than 90% of the places that Dutch has worked at.

Well WCW wasn't for everyone especially for guys like Austin, Undertaker, Jericho, Foley and Triple H

WCW always had a better roster of proven wrestlers. Veterans. I wish all the comedy type skits would go away and we just watch matches with standing interviews to the camera. Think Mean Gene. Just bring them out and perform. Who’s the better wrestler is all they need to fight about. Fight over titles and rankings. The storyline should be their fueds. Not outside wrestling stuff.
