Hmm......I like. However, there is a small problem I see here. You cannot combine multiple markets on the same ticket on exchange mode. Except you want to manually enter both. Yeah... that might be a good idea. Place back bets on BTTS and then cover the other scores........fantastic.......I've seen Tony Langley do something like that before.......

As always Ben, a very well put together video that explains the good and the bad in trading. I think the hardest thing for new traders is taking the loss, but a controlled loss as you have shown is the most sensible option in protecting your bank. If you are from a gambling background you tend to think things will turn in your favour, but they rarely do! For people new to Betfair it's worth pointing out that you have to actually select the Correct Score market to be able to use the dutching trick you referred to. If you try and do it from the popular bets screen that opens by default, it only allows you to make one score choice!

I was watching all the videos over 1 year and they must be one of the best and the way that you explain it's not much more that you have to ask after you finish the video ! My question is if dutching it's allowed by betfair exchange or you can get your account suspended cause it looks like you can not really lose money ? Thanks.

Ben is amazing and his judgement is excellent but I do want to talk about his point about chasing scores and the market will swallow you up as it is a fair point, however if done correctly it can be extremely powerful to actually back more scores in play. If you are going to trade correct scores then software is a must, I use fairbot as its a great for adjusting prices within the CS. Football is a low scoring game with 2-3 goals in the majority of matches, when trading the CS you just assume loads of goals are going to fly in, but this is just your fear talking. It seems to happen a lot but that is because those matches with 4-5 goals stick in the memory. If you have covered 2 and 3 goals ahead then do not be afraid to back the first goal when it fly's in, I normally back it so if the game finishes 0-1,1-0 it will give me a scratch trade. If the second goal fly's in then I will back 2 goals ahead again to give me a scratch trade should the match have 4 goals in it. Sometimes doing nothing though is exactly the right thing to do, but also do not be afraid to adjust your position several times in a match. But please do not panic and always try to reduce your liability as the match progresses by laying off some of your profit on the next score lines. If you have danger scores late on in a game then do not be afraid to back them late on as their odds will be high. Some times I will look to use cover by drip laying\backing the goal markets as low liquidity in the CS can mean its difficult to get out of the market should things go wrong. So my advice is to get good software, always pick 3-4 target scores and work around them during the match to ensure scratch and finally do not panic as most teams with 2-3 goal lead will protect it not add to it.

@@garethevans817 If a goal goes in especially in the first 20 minutes the odds on 1-0,0-1 will be higher than what they were at the start so you can back this very cheaply. I would only back it with enough money to give myself a scratch trade. With correct score trading you are constantly at it, i often back higher scores at 200-1 as the match goes on as a couple of goals would see a price like that come crashing in.

Do you have anymore videos in the pipeline mate? I just wanted to say I’ve watched a lot of football trading videos on RU-vid during the last few years... and I wanted to say without doubt after watching your channel your videos are the best out there. My results have improved this last year using a few of your methods my personal favourite is the overs entering during the game and splitting the stakes drip feeding in I think I seen your guys on twitter refer to it as fireball or snowball I like it whatever it’s called 😀👍

Recommend using a bot on this strategy so you can one click out. For those with Goal Profits Subs - you will be aware of the recommendation of splitting your bank by 300 on the CS trading, and I doubt you could call these people idiots.. Enjoyed the video; not the way I would trade as I think better bank management is needed. For those with B Angel - they have a Dutching Software that allows to to determine if you want £0.00 profit on 0-0, 0-2 for instance and more on your target scores. BEst of luck to all who give it a go. Great feeling when it goes your way....... pain in the you know what when it does not.

Good stuff, fired an idea for me. I watch your videos over and over again and, like a favourite film I spot new things all the time. Today, I picked up your advice on trade out time of 80 mins (unless you're trading for a late goal, I suppose). Hi Ben. How to create manual cash out on correct score market? The exchange I am using does not offer cash out, precisely it is not reliable. I cant figure out how can I split my profit on all outcomes once I hit my correct score target. Please please can you explain that? At 17:57 min mark you cashed out 15 pounds, my question is, what would you have to do in a scenario where cash out button is not there? How to split your profit from 2-3 target score on all other outcomes? Please help me 😭 or if anyone else knows solution to this please help.

Great video as always Ben, can you just clarify how far you would have let the 0-0 run in say the Aberdeen Rangers game for example? Are you looking at 30% loss before cashing out?

Hey Kelly, Good question and to be honest I am not totally sure thinking back. We had both 1-0 and 0-1 covered so I think I could have stayed in till around 70 minutes without taking a loss if it was 0-0. So I could have stayed in for a good stretch!

I said in the video I just wanted to keep it simple for this demonstration and also I had no live pictures. So I wasn't sure if Celtic were going to go for more goals or if the pace had slowed down.Keep in mind, If it went to 3-0 quite soon I wouldn't be able to cash out for as much profit, I would ideally need the 3-0 to happen in the late stages.

Thank you, I really want to try this method. I use an Ipad to bet but it will not allow me to add multiple score lines to the my bet selections, it requests me to bet individually on each score line. So I cant spread the stake using the method that was shown. Is this possible to do on an ipad?

what kind of strike rate would you need on this? I tried it for the first time today on the Rangers Aberdeen game, at the end of the first half I was having a 50% green while it was still 0-0 as my 3 scores were likely to come in to play on Rangers missing so many chances, do you also sometimes trade out before goals if theres good green and you are not liking how well the dog is playing? I traded out took my profit as Aberdeen were looking a bit dangerous...low and behold Aberdeen banged one in straight away in the second half which would have only left my 1-1 in play and 2-1 3-1 to rangers, which would have worked but dangerous as Aberdeen could have easily gone 2-1 up.

Laying 0-1 means betting against that scoreline, so a 0-1 final would give you a loss on all 5 bets. If you meant Back instead of Lay, the price isn’t good enough.

I have been dutching HT correct scores for about 2 weeks now and it is going really well, but finding there aren't enough important games to keep me busy. Maybe one per day on average, obvs more on the weekend.. I am wondering if there is some alternative sport that I can apply the strategy to, to keep me ticking over when not much football on?

Hi mate not sure if you have managed to sort this out, but I just had the same problem. Open a bet page on a football game and scroll down to correct score then at the bottom you will see a "view full market" click that and it should work (well it did for me anyway) :)

Hi Ben another great video thanks mate On that qpr match where you entered at ht I really liked that one. I noted that the 0-2 was at 32 when you placed your bets into the market that I think would have been worth adding just incase it went 0-1 for better protection of our stake for a relative small cover? I know you said to cover 3 scorelines so I guess one option would be slightly smaller stake on the 2-0 as you had huge green on that ? Or just simply cover 4 scores so many options I will give this one a try over the next few weeks see how it goes 👀 Oh 1 quick edit what stop loss would you recommend if it remained 0-0 50% loss ?

Hey mate, yes I think your comment shows just how many possibilities there are with dutch trading! I think 50% loss is a fair stop loss when it is not going your way yes. If you can keep your average win 50%+ then you have a good risk-reward ratio to work with.

On the Roma game, could you not have skewed the market and shifted some potential profit to any other away win ? It would cater for the 4 nill etc and also you still had your 3 - 1 in play in case the opposite happened... or just an easier decision to just scratch it and move on. Curious

i have commented on this video before and since then i have been doing some work on football trading, between 7%-8% of games end 0-0 and under 15% of games are 0-0 at halftime, so dutching correct scores you have a fair amount of leeway to work with

Cheers Ben for the info on your videos. Last week I started out with a decent flow of inplay profit in my 1st week. I tested out lay the draw inplay from the 60th minute. Where I managed to get 7 out of 9. I felt I was more drawn to back both teams to win after 60 minutes whilst the game was still in a draw between both teams. I managed to gain better profit with that strategy than doing the inplay lay the draw. As well went for your strategy when the favourite is losing. Managed to get that with Norwich, Bury, Ross County and Barcelona. When Spurs were one nil down to Burnley. I backed Tottenham. Then backed Burnley when Spurs equalised. Since Spurs hadn't drawn this season I decided to lock in and back the draw with a decent profit in all 3 outcomes of the match. Early days so far but feel confident in those strategies I learnt from you.

That isn't a strategy it is more luck and plenty of it, because usually the favorite can't turn around when losing, more times it is a day no of the favorite team than an early lucky goal of the underdog. About laying the draw at 60 minute, the 0-0 is different of 1-1 or 2-2, laying the first isn't profitable in the long term.

Hi Ben, quick question. I noticed in the live examples, Barcelona vs Madrid, you were backing the same score more than once. 2-0 was backed 3 times for example. Why was that mate? Great vid again mate, best tutor on RU-vid. Cheers pal.

It's just the way bets are matched, for example you might put £20 on at 2.0 only £6.23 might initially get matched @2.0 then £3.77 @2.0 and then £10 @2.0. However you only place one trade of £20 @2.0 and betfair will match it up. He doesn't place 3 separate trades. Just the one

Not really. Ben isn't showing the full trades. In the game Lazio-Empoli before the goal at 43 minute the red was huge and if Empoli scored first even worst. And even after Lazio's goal he was waiting for a red to came with Empoli scored meantime and he had only the 2-1 to cover it. im new to trading outside of 5f+6f sprint races, ive just got to the end of the Rangers game, surely as you thought it was going to be a tight game you should have skewed it in favour of the 0-1 or the 1-0 scores then took the cashout but a great video

I understand you're "just take the profit" discipline. But in the 19th minute of the video when you were trading on Celtic Hibernian and it was 2 nil. With 2.1, 3.0 covered. Why didn't you just see out the game for a higher cash out as a goal would have led to a even higher cash out as you had both results covered? Is that something someone doing it should be looking to do did you just cash out because you wanted to for the video?

Yes it pretty much was just for the video. I did these trades as demonstrations, had no live pics and just wanted to show you could take the profit. Also, keep in mind another quick goal would DECREASE the profit that was available so that plays a part in the decision.

So hang on, at 19:29 in the first match (Celtic v Hibs) you achieved 2-0. If it had stayed the same, you'd have won £80, if another goal had gone in, it would've either been 3-0 and you'd have been on course for £120, if it went 2-1, you'd have been on for £150, both of which you could have presumably cashed out for more than £62. And you cashed out early at 2-0 for £62. You lost yourself £20 for no reason, and more than that if there'd been another goal! 🙄

"both of which you could have presumably cashed out for more than £62", this is incorrect, the cash out might not have been higher or even the same as that. Unless you can predict the future and the timing of the goals in the future you have to make your decision in the moment.

I (respectfully) disagree. I would agree if it were earlier in the match, because the market expects a goal. For example, when the first goal went in at 25' (18:40 on the video) making it 1-0 to Celtic, the short odds were on 2-0 (5) and 3-0 (5.7), whereas 1-0 was still at 9. This is similar to the 0-0 market, where the odds actually lengthen from their SP up until 65' if there's no goal (i.e. the market's expecting at least a 1-0 or 0-1), and after that they shorten on 0-0 until the end. (Unless, obviously a late goal comes in.) After about the 65' mark, the current scoreline becomes the odds-on favourite. And you can see that in the video at 19:29. When it becomes 2-0, the odds for 2-0 are 2.66. (i.e. the current scoreline is the favourite, with 3-0 at 3.4 and 2-1 at 11.) If it had remained 2-0, you would have made £80. If another goal had gone in, THAT scoreline would have become the odds on favourite at less than 2.66 (as time would have elapsed) and you would have been covered for a larger payout on either scoreline, so your percentage would have increased slightly on a larger return = more profit. THEN it would be a wise time to cash out because you're not covered for another goal, but until that point you're better to let it ride. One can't predict the future, as you say, but one can predict the curve of the market. 2-0 becomes the odds on favourite at 2.66 because there's only 25' left and the market is no longer thinking another goal is inevitable. Should another goal go in, there's even less time left, so the odds will favour the current score at less than 2.66. Thus locking in more profit. Especially on a higher predicted return. Which is why it's good/lucky that you locked in the higher scoreline earlier on. To summarise, I would agree with you had it been earlier on in the match, but after 65' you had the golden situation - a risk free profit with the chance for it to improve should a goal occur. Isn't that every trader's dream scenario? 😁

This is good to know how to do want you want apart from it being quite fun of course, but I find without some kind of inside knowledge its all pointless and still gambling when it comes to money.
