That place looks awesome! Really does look fun there. I feel like I'm seeing your future videos here with your girl. I can't believe your niece just learned to ride the day before and she is already cruising around and going over that wood board without losing her balance. She is rocking it! You both are awesome!
Another great video and I love that park. I will need to check it out when I am in the area. I like jump trails. I am bad on jumps and need to practice more and that looks like a great place. keep the great videos coming Tess.
Somehow we missed you even though we’re at Duthie almost every day. You made it just in time before the rain made it unrideable. Keep up the awesome vids!
I've tried a lot of riding glasses in my day, and these Julbo Aerospeeds are way better than anything else I've tried. I REALLY like them. I also have Julbo Renegades for casual wear (also adaptive) and some julbo goggles for park days. We're HUGE fans of Julbo eyewear.
I regularly practise skills, even if I don't have time to ride long, city centre practising skinnies on kerbs, practising drops, always something to practise. nice fun trail, but my local area don't have trails like there, only in bikeparks, but still a lot of safe trails. you area a great coach :-)
Im always hoping to run into some of the mtb you tubers when I'm out riding. Think I may have barely missed you guys at duthie and funner to tiddlywinks. I was at duthie and Tiger mtn the last 4 days in August and then went to Oak Ridge for a few days and passed through Bend early September. It was funny to hear your thoughts about the techie sections of funner cause South Mountain is my backyard trails and I made a similar comparison in my head. Keep up the good MTB stewardship!
Man! I need a learning park like this in Florida. There's Mount Dora, in that there are a few little practice features at the beginning, but there's nothing to teach jumps on. I enjoyed watching you coach the younglings. I think you guys would make great coaches for a MTB club. Have you ever looked into NICA at all? That's an organization geared towards getting MTB as a high school sport. You'd make great mentors in that organization. Get dusty! Stay upright and keep the rubber side down. -Brian
One day we'd like to volunteer and coach for NICA, but with our constant travel, it's tough. We'd love to open a coaching/clinic business one day, but there are a lot of legal things that are overwhelming for us.
Duthie is world-class, but you have some amazing bike parks within 40 min. Check out Trailside Bike Park in PC. It's got a series of jumps just like Luna Rollers. It's also got a couple pump tracks, and some big features for those who are already doing drops. The draper bike park is great too. Eagle Mountain also has a skills section near their trails. Also, Salt Lake has one of the biggest winter BMX scenes in the world. I plan to race a few BMX races before we leave Utah.
