I have tried two bottles of this Duvel prior to the live stream you did with Simon and the others, it was thanks to the build up about it, and after watching the event (that was great by the way) I then found your channel and found this review, glad I did, thank you coz I really like it and the beer, cheers 🍻
@@TheBierHooligan yes I have added you to my list and will keep an eye out on your channel, and try to help boost it up by liking and getting involved, I have only found Simon's recently due to looking into the blade and pint365 as I have just brought one ready for my birthday In September, I have also watched your review on the perfect draft and liked it, you are a top bloke like Simon and I'm glad I have come across your channel through him/his, I'm sure this will work both ways for many others as well, finding one through another, networking I call it, can't have enough channels on RU-vid as TV is rubbish these days, I've given up watching TV and just stream RU-vid over to it. I knew you would be alright I wasn't worried one minute as you were quietly confident and looked perfectly fine (don't know how you do it) it was the other two I was worried about, I thought Simon had dropped his glass and left the Livestream running at the end lol
@@TheBierHooligan it was a great night and fun to watch, I've just purchased a Duvel glass on Amazon, but think I'm gonna just enjoy and savour these beers rather than down them, as I wouldn't be able to pull it off like you, I would be on the floor in a mess, Simon was still standing just, after what he had, I would be out for the count lol, anyway well done to you all on that one it was crazy and great, just could not believe you were ready and waiting to open yet another drink then next after 1000 likes, I take my hat off to you Mark
4:04 You said it right there! Many a man's favorite beer by far in Belgium. Duvel is dialect Dutch for duivel (devil). After three or four of them you start to feel like the devil...
one of our most beloved beers ! very tasty but mind you , you can get very very drunk if you have a few of these in a row. check Duvel contest on youtube

In Nieuwpoort (belgian seaside) we had in a bar i work an american basketball team on tour , we have them Duvel they guzzeld it down like it was cola, we warned them... ,next day the manager furious like ... it was the eighties, i will never forget. So carreful now...
Does take me a lot of beer to get pissed. I famously drunk 10 x Bottles of Duvel in 2 hours 40 minutes on RealAleCraftBeer Channel livestream, then had a Barley Wine and a Tripel Karmeliet to finish off.

@@TheBierHooligan Never tried that one. It's definitely on my list. As you correctly say in the Netherlands (where I'm currently living) has so much more choice and variety.
