You should move on, of course. Each year enter in October, check in May, but realize that it won't work for everyone. So, life goes on, make the best of it, and perhaps look into other ways to emigrate.

Hi Simon, I got selected from Oceana New Zealand with a number around 1050. I'm already in USA on a work visa. DS260 confirmation page tells me KCC will not schedule my appointment with USCIS and I should contact my local USCIS. Do I still need to wait for KCC to give a go ahead before I can book my interview?? Thanks in advance for your help

Hi Simon, I’m a DV 2025 winner. My case number is AS28xxx. I’ll be going to the US with tourist visa next year. I already submitted DS-260. Can I file adjustment of status while in the US by that time or do I need to comeback to my country and have it interviewed? Because my country is currently having a war outbreak and the US Consulate has not been functioning until further notice. What can I do in this case? Please any help or advice is appreciated. at the moment for DV2024 the current case number in Asia is still only 12,000 so you can wait until next year to see before asking the KCC

Thanks Simon. Quick one - I’m Australia case number 706 (feel free to include in figures), and I need to wait another 10 days before completing my DS260 for a few reasons. Will waiting this long adversely affect my interview/visa chances do you think (just your opinion) and anyone else’s welcome.

Hi Simon! First of all, thank you for everything you do for us. My question would be: My friend won it this year, but unfortunately he is not very good with English, or rather, he hardly speaks anything. Is that a problem?...But his future wife, whom he will marry in 5 days (the wedding was already planned, a long time ago) speaks perfect English. Can she help during the interview? That should be fine as cases will be scheduled from later this year and will be based on your case number. Even if you filled the form as early as you can you'll be processed according to case number

Yeah never let a company handle.. They will withhold confirmation number for money. Sad business. However, you might be able to retrieve your confirmation number if they really did submit it.

Use the forgot confirmation number link in order to retrieve your birthday - that means trying many times, which you must not do in the DFS260!!

Greetings from Armenia Sir🙏 I was lucky this year and finally I’ve been selected . But now I discovered that I made two mistakes. The first mistake was made in the education section, I indicated Some Universal Courses but in fact I have a Vocational School education. (in our country, school is 10 years of study in a regular school, which does not imply higher education, so I got it mixed up).And the second mistake is in the section about residential address; I indicated the name of the suburb in Address Line 1. Please tell me if my case is subject to disqualification? and can I correct the mistakes made and provide the correct information on Form 260? I really hope that these mistakes are not gross and I can get through this to the end. Luckily my case number is low. Appreciate your support Sir. 👏

If you're submitting the DS-260, try removing the zeros between the letters and numbers.
