Good day Brit Simon I am a DV 2022 winner am presently in the US Maryland to be preside. During our fiscal year 2022 my case number was 22k and I was scheduled for interview without be current my interview was scheduled on January while my case number was not current at that time but after my interview and my visa was approved I have to wait like 3 months for my case number to be current before they issued my passport with the visa in it. If you need to verify this information I will send you my interview appointment letter then you can track the DV 2022 visa bulletin at that time. We do appreciate all you do I was inspired by you to be persistent in the DV lottery.

I got chosen for the DV 2025, and my case number is AS00009XXX. I visited the United States in 2019 on a B1/B2 visa and again from June 29 2023 to July 13, 2023 on a J1 visa, and I am subject to Section 212E. What should I do? Please advise.

Hey Mr. Brit @britsimon Help me outtt hope ur having a good day! I won the DV-2025 lottery and I need to fill out the DS-260 form, but my passport expires in August. I have an appointment to renew my passport in 4 days, and it will take about a month to get the new one. Should I wait until I receive the new passport to fill out the DS-260, or submit it with my current passport details? And my case number is 10876 and I’m in Asia. And should I bring both the old and new passports to the visa interview? Any advice on the best approach would be really helpful!

I was a dv lottery winner 2024 fiscal year with a case number of about 71 thousand some hundreds and i submitted the DS_260 at around MAY 15,2023 upto now i haven't yet receive my second notification irrespective of that please i may like to know if their is any possibilities means for me to receive my second notification..Hope to hear from you sir. Your case number is not yet current, you may get current in June for July or September interview if you're AF71

@@bintsaidi9600 If the case number is 2024AF00069000 it is not yet current, it will become current next month when the new visa bulletin will be release for the month of June against August interviews. Hope this helps

I have a question for my case, the case number is EU205xx (Russia) which shows in bulletin as current status today (July). However, I've unlocked my ds260 2 days ago and I re-submit my DS260 last night (less than 6 hrs before my status become current) Will it cause any issue for my interview (I have interview in BNK (Bangkok is not busy embassy as i understand) Thank you for your information. This will not cause issues. However, if you left it unlocked for a significant amount of time, then it could affect the processing of your case. Since you submitted in a very short amount of time, that particular aspect is fine.

hello, I wanted to ask - let’s say on May 4 I found out that I won the lottery and I want to fill out the ds-260, but there is one problem, my passport expires on July 3, 2024, can I now fill out the ds-260 without wasting time, and then change passport. and then when I get a new passport, do I need to make changes to the ds-260 form by opening a case or leave everything as it is and explain the situation during the interview?

Depending on your processing.. Yes, there's a very high chance you will be current imo. Don't be discouraged if it isn't in October though.. That's a very low number.

Hi Brit My case number is for year 2025 About 3500 For Oceania Fiji. Currently the cut off is 2000 for July. Is it highly likely it will move up to 3500 in coming months till next year. I have submitted ds 260.

i have a question regarding the children in the ds 260 form. I have three children who is 21 years above and in the initial application when filling the green card, we didn't mentioned any children because it asked that children must be under 21 years age. But since i won it now, when filling the ds 260 form they ask us the number of children , SO should i mention my three children who are above 21 years old?

If they were above 21 when you submitted your initial entry, then they are not eligible for the DV lottery. If they turned 21 after the initial entry, then you can discuss their eligibility with the officer at your interview. You should include information about them in the DS-260 though.

@@Hardworkpaysoffsomehow You should bring any information to prove anything that isn't correct. You may also want to include that in other names listed on the DS-260.. You can send a message to KCC and they'll unlock it for you to make the corrections.

Yes, if you had gotten married after the initial entry- add her to the DS-260. If you were married when you submitted your initial entry and didn't include her-- then that's a problem lol.
