DVA AND ALL ARMOR NERFED!! - Overwatch 2 Mid-Season Patch Notes 

I'm half convinced rein is the kiri of tanks in terms of skin favoritism.

I miss when they had competitive mystery heroes and competitive capture the flag, they should definitely add them back with role queue

They nerfed the armor, buffed Hog, and nerfed the main counter to Maui. Ball mains, it’s gonna be a rough night for us. FUCK THEY BUFFED CASS, WE’RE COOKED, Ball was sleeper meta, how could they do this

If the armor nerf feels bad for tanks, they could always put 1-2 points of extra armor damage reduction into the tank role passive, while leaving DPS armor heroes unaffected.

10:40 It's just a flat out buff to Sigma, though. The damage numbers are the same, but moved to the explosion part instead. That''s just a straight up buff, as he'll do more damage when missing, but the same damage while hitting. Into groups that'll just be more overall damage. Whether that means much is .. Really down to rank. More overall damage will probably make him a top tier pick in metal ranks. But honestly: Most of these damage buffs to heroes just seem to undo what they were doing with the Health buffs/rework. Zenyatta was fine. And Sombra's existence makes him a non-factor most of the time anyway.

I'm tired people saying venture is op. They have to literally either have to use all their abilities to engage or disengage, you have to hit 3 abilities to kill a 250 hp target leaving yourself completly defenseless if you cant get out of los while their team collapses on you.

The thing is not all tanks get armor. All the meta tanks have armor sure, but a nerf to armor is probably a good thing for the game overall.

I agree on giving Cassidy's flashbang more range instead, would feel more fun to play. Also came up with a fun idea, what if Cassidy's flashbang had a pretty long range and by hitting the ability button (E by default) again, it would pop the flash early, so it would still be easy to hit close range targets. What do you think? Sounds like a fun mechanic in my opinion :D

As a Mystery Hero enjoyer I found out supp is my least favorite role to play in that role, too many times ended playing Mercy or LW (nothig against these two, but I find them boring).

Blizzard-tanks don’t feel tanky enough. Also Blizzard-let’s nerf tanks and make them less tanky again.

sigma's ult not ignoring damage reduction was a glitch??? what that's a stealth buff for sure also i think giving hanzo the oneshot back means there's less encouragement for him to use storm arrows to finish off kills which means he'll have it up more often for flankers, which feels significant

Mystery heroes change is terrible. I'll queue all roles and only get tank or support. The fun of Mystery Heroes was getting to play Heroes and roles that I normally don't get to play. Now it is going to be long queues if I ever want a chance at damage heroes.

I've always wanted a role queue mystery heroes, but I think it should be part of a permanent competitive mystery heroes mode and keep the original unranked mode available as is at the same time.

I'm torn. Rein is dead again, and back to ONLY shielding. Ball is better now, but I love both and need both. if I get 5 man countered on ball, and then have a mercy on my team, I'm just like. welp. I guess I'm fucked. time to learn sigma i guess?

Honestly, as a Hanzo main... I didn't mind the low-1shots. Now the charge-up time is gonna feel awkward, and my shots are going to be hard to hit.

Ugh, I hope these Dva nerfs help. I had to stop playing DPS role because of how ridiculous she was 😅 Now we just have a ton of blotted tanks way above their rank who were riding Dva up the chain

I'm happy that tank gets to be bullied by Lucio again. All the boops are going to feel great because tank boop reduction is now useless.

I wish they’d move away from 1 shots. It’s not fun to play against for anyone and simply doesn’t fit into a game like overwatch. But seems like they’re leaning more into it. Disappointing

those clash changes are trash too. stomps are the result of 5v5, making the third point impossible to cap doesn't make the game more fun

i keep trying to worn players that if you play dva to much she will get nerfed. low an behold. she did need nerfed but it will be harsher a nurf cause shes being over playered causes the way they use to balance the characters are a terrible system. tho its stupid DVA can out speed a lucio speed boost an a juno speed boost ring an run them down an that should not be a thing i get she can chase but not 2-3 speed boost in a row timed chasing us across the hole map its redicules.

widow needs nerfs this shit is crazy. now hanzo has a slower recharge, projectiles, worse mobility and a larger hitbox. the only thing he has is storm arrow. they shouldn't have increased the charge time and they should have nerfed widow.

I don’t like that they’re needing the entire tank roster via the passive knockback because Juno exists. That’s not a tank issue that’s a Juno issue. A lot of people don’t even play Juno. As a support main that plays a lot of brig it’s good for me but I don’t think that’s a good decision.

They'll do anything besides make Cassidy good. Like.... yea, this will help specifically against Reaper and stuff, but.... not sure this will make him viable again, will need to test it. Edit: I might be wrong, just tried the changes, and.... Idk, might be good.
