Tonight, we’re reviewing a movie I watched and as inspired by the book by Mark Obmascik, this movie's called The Big Year! The DVD came out in 2012.
Released in 2011 and directed by David Frankel, this movie stars Jack Black as Brad Harris, Steve Martin as Stu Preissler and Owen Wilson as Kenny Bostick with other people like Cindy Busby, Andrew Wilson and Dianne West. It also stars Jim Parsons from The Big Bang Theory as Craine!
Three avid bird-watchers pursue the winner's title to achieve the world record of spotting the highest number of birds during the Big Year event as the title holds a special meaning for each one.
Unfortunately, Bond Fan est 2002 DOES NOT like this movie because he does not find it funny at all! When he looked at the movie’s plot on Wikipedia, he disapproved of it and had to unveil his opinion!
Although the Blu-Ray version exists, he's not getting it at all and will be nicknaming it “The Big Month” or even better… “The Big Week”!
