As the guy who plays Medic a lot There is one really annoying bug with mechanical units, especially APU and Rangers If you shot mech unit with arrows these units will slow down on client side but will remain original speed on server side So you'll have situations where APU incinerates you while being 3 miles away from you And rangers self explode from a long distance but still hitting you, there was a lot of moments where I were shoting an arrow at them ant then going to finish off with melee but I couldnt reach them in time or they just straight up teleports behind me About teleporting, this happens to all mech units when arrow disappears, they teleport to the position where they are on server side Tanks and Platforms are less affected by this, but sometimes tanks will launch into the air, will have a seizure, or sometimes going inside walls
I had this idea as a sort of bandaid fix for sparta being stuck, whenever the game detects that his velocity is below a really low value lets say 2 the game would spawn a target like entity that only sparta's ai can detect and would force him to dash out of it and that would maybe reboot his targetting to some other player to fix the issue of him getting stuck and also trident does need buffs as you mentioned, I think something like a 50% damage resistance when not being aggroed to someone would be suitable
You would spawn an entity and cause a force AI attack on said entity? I think you could also just run a code for an AI reset since that is much less work and would just fix the issue at hand.
I know its off the context question. Can you give me tips about how to beat daedalus on hell mode? Theres 4 of us in the game and the map we're doing it is dune The squad : 2 Specialist 1 medic 1 recon
Depends on what map you are on, but I am going to assume Archipelago. With your squad comp, have one specialist on island 3 (The island opposite of the upgrade stations). Everyone else has to whistle in a chain, so one after the other to keep regular units completely distracted. He will use the island as cover, staying behind it and will dps him. It's ideal to have rangers preset away but within los of Daedalus and to have pdcs as well to speed the process up. Side tip: If you jump right as a stun attack is about to land it may cause you to further slide away or even simulate a double jump, thus allowing you to gain more distance. However, never jump outside these circumstances as poor timing of a jump may actually lead to a fatal ragdoll.
My Trident concept does that. The only way for him to lower his shield is to get grappled. If you break free, this shield downtime will extend to roughly 15 seconds for exposure. Basically you are almost forced to face him.
I remember one time when an assault player was trying to solo daedalus mid fight dae just threw the dirt block to someone across the map idk why that happed

@@ThisGuyLik3sGam3s How do you mean tweaking. They telegraph their line of sight with a flashlight and will ignore the player otherwise. Fighting them is difficult due to their extreme damage and the fact that melee is the only option since guns cause boom. I do wonder if OC would be OP for this, though.
@@koronx058saying it would need some tweaking because the gas troopers feel more like an addition for HELLMET rather than dvn, and yea OC would probably be OP or if the devs wanted to, give some odd reason on why the gas trooper can penetrate the shield
@@ThisGuyLik3sGam3s OC wouldn't be that op since it's hard to get oc in the first place. gas troopers flame would work similarly to prometheus as well which means it would have an afterburn.
Pointing out problems is a lot easier than coming up with solutions, and pointing out problems are helpful and sometimes it's easy to know what the solution is to a problem, also Chow does come up with some Solutions in the video.
