This video takes us to the 2nd round of the DVO Winter Gravity Series held out at Bootleg Canyon in Boulder City, NV (Aka Las Vegas).
The first part is me talking about what you'll see in the video and what's up next, then it cuts to some clips I got during our practice rides and then onboard footage of my stages.

Stage one was a doozy, not proud of how I reacted up at the top just off the starting gate when I failed at that first section (I cleaned it the day before). Nerves and being completely embarrassed in front of all the people watching didn't help. The day before I crashed pretty hard on the Waterfall section and went OTB so that was also a factor. Luckily I made it down in one piece and no crashes. The other two stages were great!
The weather during the event was very COLD, in fact, it snowed on Sunday after the races...crazy!!!

Jeffery, thank you so much for those words, truly means a lot to me. It's tempting to cut out the "bad" stuff or the "Struggles" but I always think about when I look back later on, it's important to showcase it all so you can truly see the progression in riding.

Couldn't agree more Pat, I want the whole picture! I'd leave more of the "struggles" in if I wasn't trying to keep it under a certain time frame. I kind of feel like the mistakes show the growth/progression a lot more than the "just going fast through stuff." Thanks for the encouragement!

I'll check out your video, can't wait to see what you came up with. My videos for that trip are a couple weeks out still, lots of good stuff...it's really hard to hold off and not edit them first LOL. I'll be sure and hit you guys up if/when I head out to Tucson. Wow! Another great video Donna! That trail looked incredibly steep with some nasty sharp chunk and serious exposure. Oh yeah, and you're a beginner riding a double black. Gee, I wonder why you got in your head a little. : / I think the mental aspect of riding is harder to overcome sometimes than the trail itself. You keep pushing the boundaries like you're doing and you'll be a phenomenal rider in no time. Seriously! You killed it! Thanks for the video. Keep it real! : )

Mine only really hurt because of my crash the day before. Slammed my left hand into the ground/jagged rock. Those damn breaking bumps were what really made it hurt LOL... Glad you enjoyed it and congrats on the new bikes! :)

Hi, Donna...great video!. do you train for your races? or is riding your training? I'm a long retired xc racer. back in the day, my training was a road bike and MB riding. Enduro racing didn't exist then. : ) the bikes now are so amazing! ...It takes courage to get out there and do it afraid! you rock!

Hey Trail Lady, I typically just ride what I ride. Sometimes a fire gets lit under me and I'll do some stuff on the indoor trainer. I was doing pretty good a couple months ago but have been busy with races and stuff to sneak it in. So awesome you used to race and the bikes today are crazy awesome! Enduro is also pretty sweet though I'm looking at trying the style where it's an Enduro but with lift assist (no pedaling transfers), haha. Thanks for the encouragement!!!
