Dobra w Żarnowcu należały od XIII wieku do zakonu cystersów w Oliwie, następnie benedyktynek. Po kasacie zakonu folwark Żarnowcu przechodzi w wolne posiadanie. W latach 1841-1878 właścicielem jest Ludwig Zelewski, który rozpoczyna budowę dworu klasycznego. W latach 1878-1906 jest to własność Bartelsa z Rugi, następuje wówczas rozbudowa dworu w stylu eklektycznym. Kolejnej przebudowy dokonuje Rudolf Stenzel. Po wojnie przyłączono folwark do Ośrodka Kultury Rolnej. Obecnie mieści się w nim hotel.

The property in Żarnowiec belonged to the Cistercian order in Oliwa from the 13th century, and then to the Benedictine nuns. After the dissolution of the order, the Żarnowiec farm became free possession. In the years 1841-1878, the owner was Ludwig Zelewski, who began the construction of a classical manor house. In the years 1878-1906 it was the property of Bartels from Rüga, then the manor was expanded in an eclectic style. The next reconstruction is carried out by Rudolf Stenzel. After the war, the farm was incorporated into the Agricultural Culture Center. Currently, it houses a hotel.
