😮Oh really? Does that mean it gets comparable brightness planetary images as the S50? I hadn't purchased either yet, but the S50 had better live adjusting for those images. This could change my mind.

Dwarf and seestar are both sutied for solar luanr and deepsky, planets will appear small due to small focal elngth. Dwarf II app has also the option of streatching the tone curve and using also on individual channels, that i think you can use it also on planetary, i tested on soalr and it works, i got a live stack result with the color i wanted, yellow isntead of white

What are the sequence steps to stack the moon? Which mode do I use to start off the sequence? Can you show the steps how to shoot the moon. Thanks John!

Hello, if i did not sow in the video the full process you can check how i use the astro mode for solar iamging, is the same process for lunar, jsut for lunar you can leave it longer period of time and stillg et a sharp image. After you find the moon with the dwarf , you slect lunar tracking, then you go astro mode, select the exposure and settings you want and start livestack, you can leave it like 5 minutes or more, then stop live stack and you are done, here is how i sued the astromode on my latest video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FLVOytOauxA.html also if you want to join me for the total solar eclispe live here is the link ru-vid.comvtnnjTuWbxI

Hello. Dwarf II and Seestar are not planetary telescopes, to get good planetary images you need a telescope with much higher focal length usualy from 900mm up. I updated the latest firmware, but stacking the Moon is now 2K instead of sharp. No idea what’s going on here, but the iike *$#??? Which firmware are you using here?

The one before the last one but i tested also the last one and it worked fine. Make sure the focus is good before you start the livestack

Focusing is the most important of your preparations, but somehow it looked like the binning was on 2x2, although I had it set to 1x1 (4K). Will have to try again next time the Moon is visible (the clouds havent' got the message yet that Spring has arrived haha😂).

@@BommeltjeNL With burst mode i think you get a little better quality, and if you want best quality for video you can sue the astro mode make a livestack and then use the raw fits or tif images to make a video, and the quality will be much better

Nice video, for first sorry for my english. i'm Italian. I think to buy Seestar o Dwarf II (Dwarf II because in my country the price is near to the half o Seestar) and i like a lot your channel for informations. I like Seestar but i don't like that is "only" 2 megapixels photo, dwarf II have 8 megapixels and i can "crop" more or i can see my photo on 4k monitor. But i see that the Seestar is a lot more capable in DSO image (less noise, better sharpness, better colors). The Dwarf II with the last update can compete to the Seestar or remain more or less the same results in DSO?? Thanks

I see dwarf III and before your answer i see your video (the same) :) But i need this telescope for the next month and i think that Dwarf III not release now or right after the 30th may but after months (i read on reddit on september). If dwarf III start to sell and send right after 30th may i'm sure to consider to buy (hoping for the same price ad Seestar). Did you know a release period of this scope after 30th May ? Thanks :)

@@Paolo14984 Hi Paolo. I udnerstand to excitment of getting a new telescope earlier. I heard they want to amke the shipment faster that the initial schedual, but i do not ahve yet more information, might be fast after prorder or could take a few months

It does dedicated lunar tracking mode, that can track the moon for several hours without making corrections

Hello, I usualy use photoshop and pixinsight, if the captures are not stacked then i also use other software like pipp, registax, autostackert, or planetary systems tacker

@@sizexva-3988 yes. I am paying subscription at adobe creative cloud for a decade. There is alternatives like gimp that is free and also other more affordable software like Affinity photo
