I think I can understand why: Rock loves his mother very much, he does not want her to have accidental faux pas, especially knowing the nature of the “night shows” - to make fun of everyone and everything they possibly can. Rock seems to be very protective, not embarrassed of his Mamma. Now, This adds to the reasons I respect/admire Mr. Dwayne Johnson

You guys are overthinking it. 😂 They are just teasing each other. He is definitely not embarrassed by his mother. If he had been, he would not have invited her to join him. He loves her to death. I do the same with my mother. I would never ever feel embarrassed by my mom whatever she does. I will always be proud to be her son even if she does something crazy. And to be honest, normal is boring. 😂
