Expensive, but if accurately replicating the feel of acoustic is your main goal...perfect. These DWe drums and cymbals could only be improved by having 4 or more zones per drum that can be assigned different sounds. I suppose if that's the goal, get a multipad unit. 😂

Sounds phenomenal. User interface is well set up. You can even control the amount of snare buzz created by the toms!! They thought of everything. But how about this drummer! Fluid, tasteful. Perfect groove/ feel for this jam. Inspiring, thank you!

A lot of people have asked “When will DW stop getting more innovative?” I guess we’ll never know!! And yes, I stole that from Corey Seager when he spoke at the Texas Rangers World Series celebration parade, and no, I will *NEVER* apologize for it.

What this doesn’t capture is how loud the cymbals and hats are for an electronic kit. The stick impact of the cymbals/hats actually competes against the actual sample sounds even over headphones. This video is playing the samples only and not picking up the actual sounds the metal cymbals make. Go find a demo model and you’ll immediately see what I mean. For this price range, that’s a ridiculous compromise.

finally good sounding toms and snare.... but still not convinced of the wireless technology . Will wait for future advancements.

Do these cymbals and hi hats move like real cymbals. They seem to not be moving like real cymbals when hit. Can anyone refer me to a video where I can see better movement?

They can move very much like real cymbals! All you have to do is loosen the wing nut to your liking and you're good to go 👍

They’re pretty stiff due to how thick and heavy they are. I’m sure they’ll improve them over time but for now they feel like I’m playing on a desk. Very loud as well, but we’ll see in the future. Still a sick kit
