@@10975355 i mean he speaks of relatives who were literal nazis hiding in argentina, and people from his family who were part of the american nazi party, and he doesnt really condemn them. its funny af tho given his personality
I mean, if there’s an actual intruder then you’ll probably get shot because you have a gun, but you can’t use it. Therefore, Dwight should have maybe kept the gun on an empty chamber, but it makes sense to have bullets in it.
I like how the meeting at 3:00 actually came to be in every single way, Dwight does eventually get promoted, sort of comes to love Jim and then fires him.
stuff like that is why the office is so beloved...you can pick up on that on rewatches...the dynamixs the dysfunction the fact everyone is hateable at times yet loveable too and turn into literal cartoon character basically over time...we see them at first and they seem dull and bored by their job but as time goes on we see their real secrets and truths come out and they are all interesting people behind the scenes and we get to see them struggle so we are interested
@ dawg it’s been out for 10 years this coming may. Erin find her parents btw. Well actually they find her. And Andy screws up with Erin and Pete ends up clapping. And Kevin gets fired. Michael comes back for Dwight’s wedding with Angela. Jim and Pam move to Philly so Jim can do his sports thing. Andy gets a job at Cornell and he loves it. David Wallace ends up buying Sabre and becomes CEO
@Seany Buddy Some people do not have access to the show besides RU-vid. Wtf. I see nothing wrong with OPs comment but that other reply is absolutely a nasty thing to do.
Fanbase: "Dwight's not a bad person, he just looks like a jerk because Jim provokes him! Dwight has never done anything wrong to ever warrant being pranked!" Dwight upon becoming acting manager:
S M I just watched it and he was struggling to get up and Daryl said ‘what’s wrong with you’ to snap him out of it. No I was not really mixed up I didn’t remember it exactly from a few years ago. So shoot me😇😇😇
jim low key knew he had to leave on good terms and helping dwight fufill his dream but make sure hes better than michael was as manager...jim saw he could turn into michael and thats not what he wants for himself and he knows dwight just wants the job so bad so he has to give it to him even if he wanted it himself...its only fair...
I wasn't a big fan of that line; it didn't seem to fit with Jim's character...he's not really known to have homosexual tendencies. But he would be the best person to seduce Oscar so we could all find out if he's gay or not...or maybe Michael.
@@allanshpeley4284 He wasn't genuinely flirting, he was clearly joking. It's absurdism, it's so unexpected it's meant to be funny... not taken seriously.
4:15 - I love Phyllis's oddly upbeat tone when she suggests that Dwight put his phone in the holster: she sounds like she is talking to a five year old who got a toy gun for Christmas 🤣🤣
“And when I’m promoted, you’ll be full fired!” It’s funny because this ended up actually happening. Granted they were on good terms, he and Pam were about to quit and it was so that they’d get severance, but meh, still counts!
“If you haven’t fallen in love with me by then” I love how this actaully kinda turns out to be true since they become best friends by then end of the show.
When Jim is messing with Dwight with a sarcastic remark or stupid question I love that Dwight actually takes the time and puts in the effort to answer the question.
Anyone else would've gladly watched multiple episodes/a whole season of dwight as manager with jim trying even harder to prank/sabotage him? wish we'd gotten more of that ngl
0:21 just noticed the address for the office is on “Slough Avenue”, which I’m assuming is a deliberate callback to the location of the original office back in the UK.
In Andy's defence, having a firearm discharged right beside your ears can cause your eardrums to burst and can permanently damage your hearing. Also I forgot mention that accidental discharge of a firearm in a public space or home is (i think) a felony. I dont live in the US but j think kt is treated like a felony because you proved that you were not being careful at all with your firearm and proved that someone could be seriously injured in your pesence.
Okay I have this crazy theory but it makes perfect sense just hear me out; As we know Jim is pretty upset about Dwight being acting manager. When Dwight calls him in his office, he sees the gun and boom he has an idea to prevent Dwight being manager. During the talk Jim says to Dwight that he has no *firing powers* to implant the subliminal message on Dwight's brain. Then we see Jim talking about he would've pre-quit if he'd actually give a chance of Dwight being permanent manager. He was so sure and confident about this event and he also says *"it's better to be pre-prepared"* this means he put his plan into motion. Dwight gets a package from his "uncle Honk" (That we've never heard before) and he sent a holster for Dwight. But I think Jim sent that gun holster to Dwight knowing that he will wear it with the gun in the office and of course he will wave it out to prove Jim that he has *Firing power* . But I think Jim didn't knew that Dwight would actually fire the gun that was too much even for him, but he accidentally fired it anyways. So there are my thoughts about this event.
I always thought that it was regret from the fact that Andy could file a complaint to corporate and have Dwight removed from his position, since he's Acting Manager which means that the position is fickle and easily lost compared to being s full on Office Manager.
I love this show slightly more than the original British version, however both are genius and hilarious. They really were a pick me up when I went through my depression and anxiety phases. I am still battling so I jump on certain clips I remember that make me laugh.
