Love these mini performances from Dwight's BB studios, artists he performs with don't necessarily embrace that same sound Dwight does but there's an integrity and depth to those featured artists. Plus Dwight loves to collaborate, he learns and they from him.
My speakers must be shot. All I hear is the guitars and no vocals. I can tell someone is singing but the voice is not clear. When he starts singing, Dwight's voice is clear but still a little muffled.
You need to learn to read dude. Can hear the music just not the vocals. Can't you read? Maybe you got your head up your butt and your brain is oxygen starved. It's be kind to dumb animals week so I will excuse your stupidity.

I’d like to hear Dwight do some songs with Sturgill Simpson. They share an adventurous creative style not common in country music, they are both originally from Kentucky, and they both crush it when playing Bluegrass music. Dwight’s songs with Ralph Stanley are kick ass. Sturgill’s Cuttin’ Grass album’s kick ass.
I heard Dwight's music for the first time in a little honky tonk in Tennessee on a jukebox almost 4 decades ago and have been addicted ever since. He's been with me for over 3.5 million miles and many sleepless nights on the road. It's helped me through the peaks and valleys of life and raising 5 kids and a family. My health almost took me out a few years ago and I'm still fighting that fight until the end. But it never fails no matter how rough I feel, I know Dwight's music will bring back that good time feeling like a long lost friend. Thanks for staying true and all the great memories Dwight. Anybody who thinks we do not know anything about music in Eastern Kentucky, you better step back . I happen to be from Manchester, Kentucky and if you do not know Ricky Skaggs, well look him up. Then look up Jerry Douglas, etc. etc. (The last time I heard a fellow who thought he was... initials MJ) Screamed at me because The Mavericks did not show up on his own schedule. If I remember correctly, Jerry Dale McFadden was having some health issues. Well, I do not care about his schedule, but he had to hold 100 seats at the Paramount Theater. I do not really like it, when that happens. I can read a spreadsheet as well as anybody, something is rotten in Denmark. Unless he has his money in a Swiss bank account, his a$$ is grass.

I remember singing to Mr. Yoakam's song in my Momma's car...I lost her to cancer, far too young...but, I remember 'Guitars, Cadillac, and Hillbilly Music', and 'It Only Hurts Me When I Cry, to name a few!

Your vocals are too far back, and your percusdion is to prominent. It's hard to hear what the're singing. Does he really sound that much like his dad? Wow! I'll bet Willie is proud. They all sound great.

Yes, it's Willie's son, Lucas. He has(or had) a rock band called "Lucas Nelson & The Promise of the Real" It sways was way away from Willie's music, but that voice cannot be denied! 😁

Dwight Yoakam continues to keep the Hillbilly & Honkytonk and Bakersfield Sound alive and well!!! I am so happy to see the young artists giving Dwight the respect he deserves for continuing on the original County & Western sound and it's roots... even if one of them is Willie Nelson's son.
