Never seen such a hair style like Imus he over did it for Dwight's visit I wonder if Dwight thought of lending him his hat at one point...anyway Im gonna get back to Dwight's music he's great, great singer👍Great band too.
Imus thank you promotoing Dwight! In 1986 I had the pleasure of meeting Dwight when I worked in the art department of Tower Records Lincoln Center! He was super NICE!!! He was promoting his first release Guitars, Cadillacs etc. He said hello and went to meet the store manager and came back to me giving me several signed "flats'. LIttle did I know that he was so talented! A wonderful memory 30 years ago. He is still Awesome!!!!!!!! Can't wait to see him perform this year :)
Just saw DY in Vegas and he was, as always, brilliant. And there were lots of reasons to love Imus, but few greater than his love of great music, especially Dwight's. Condolences to Diedre and the Imus family..he truly was the Last (great) DJ.
He has a BEAUTIFUL voice, could listen to him all night. Love his music & his style. Is it true you dated Wynonna Judd? I bet you have had your share of woman!! I like the way you control your voice. HE can sing. HE knows how to dress.
I have every cd DY has ever recorded. I've seen DY three times in concert. He sounds even better in person! Every show was outstanding. He just has a presences on stage, that is so special.
Wow, a lesser man would have punched that interviewer on several occasions. They don't like each other much, huh! The atmosphere the whole way through was sizzling for trouble. How Dwight kept his cool is a testament to his superiority as a gentleman and an all-round nice guy. He always has been.
Alice I'm pretty sure that Imus and Dwight are really good friends. Imus has had Dwight and the Band on the show quite a few times. Imus just throws that stuff out in order to get a reaction. Dwight's sense of humor was on display.
@@GreenfishPete Ah, OK. I've never seen this Imus guy before. It looked pretty uncomfortable a couple of times there. But it did seem odd to me that he had such praise for Dwight and his music and yet a moment later he was being acidic. I guess the cameramen knew he was perhaps playing up to them - I particularly felt sorry for Eugene Edwards, he looked a little awkward, and I just felt the interviewer guy was rude about him. It is difficult to correctly gauge atmosphere when you're looking in from the outside, but I still found Imus at times unnecessarily hostile at times and Dwight came across as wary - all the other interviews I've seen dwight in he's been relaxed and congenial, but not here.
I love Dwight's bit "Some one get Paw Paw his pills " yep he is being a sweet southern gentleman good on you DY💜💜💜Thank you GreenfishPete for all the DY videos
i never get tired of playing this 40 min clip, im just thankful i got front row tix to one of his concerts, the great doyle hargraves ladies and gentlemen
pogues2300 YOU BETTER CAPITALIZE MIGHTY WHEN YOU TALK ABOUT THE DEARLY LOVED AND SORELY MISSED 'May He sleep where the Cain's and Ophelia lay," LEVON HELM!!!!!!
Metabo......another update in 2022, Dwight is just adorable, very talented and never gets old, I still listen today, find all kinds of videos on RU-vid, have my favorite playlists......love my RU-vid too, but not as much as Dwight though......
Great show..funny stuff. Although you crushed me heart with the modified version of Miners Prayer..The original of that song is one of my very favorites..Even with the screw up, It wasn't to bad this way either I guess..lol
One thing about Dwight I haven't seen him lose his cool during any interview the way they do him they ask him a question and by the time he gives his answer they are giving him another question not even pertaining to what they are asking to start with... Don't make hell of a lot of sense. Not just him it's others also...
