Never tow something as big or bigger than your truck if you want to stop and steer safely. Towing a truck as big or bigger is going to exceed the capabilities of the brakes (you do not have trailer brakes in this application). When testing our units we often pick up a load the same size or bigger. This is for testing purposes only and you have tp admit that if it can lift a heavy load, a regular sedan vehicle won't effect it hardly at all. Hence the reason our units last so long. WHAT TRUCK DO I NEED? • Any year or make, that’s a 3500. • Any 2500 from Ford or Chevy with a 10k GVWR, and to my knowledge, that’s 2017 and up. • No Ram 2500's any year because they either have Rear Coil Suspension or they lack the 10,000lb GVWR needed. The truck must have 2 things to qualify a 10,000lb GVWR & Leaf Spring Rear Suspension.
