For those that may not remember, around the 3rd season when these zords were introduced the ninja megazord came as a replacement after the Thunderzords were destroyed following the ranger's training with Ninjor. As for Shogun zords they were originally belonging to the Alien Rangers who were the Power Rangers version of the Kakurangers but since the Alien rangers as another team kinda flopped they only really protected people until the Mighty Morphins were aged back to there proper age and then gave these zords to them before returning to there home planet.
....... I _THINK_ you missed a step there Brain... The Shogun Zords were thrown at the Power Rangers by Lord Zedd in a disguise of a parlay as a sort of Ultimatum of "Use these Zords to destroy the Earth or Kimberly wont be safe!".. The Alien Rangers DO use them, yes, but you MIGHT also be mixing them up with the _"BattleBorgs"_ they had
Thank you for not explaining every single step of the transformation process. I just want to see them put together, not listen to someone explain about how this clip goes into that tab and how they can get stuck sometimes.
@MiiMatthew No, I was being genuine. After watching so many transformation videos, it's nice just seeing the toy get combined and not have someone talking about every tiny step of the process.
I disagree. I fun of a video like this is hearing it explained because for some people it helps them to understand how to do it themselves. And at the same time you can hear that person’s opinions about the toys
This was the last Megazord, I had. It bums me out that I got the regular Ninjor/Samuraiman. But, for the Megazord...I got miniature one. That the falconzord detaches, and the the fists do a punch out motion.

Bruhhh I had the megazord set as a child and it was my favorite toy I would re-enacts the monorail scene with the falcon every time. This video brought me so much nostalgia
the zords for MMPR S3 were actually from Kakuranger, whose suits and their second set of zords were used for the Alien rangers. The Muteki Shogun(Shogun Megazord for MMPR S3 ultimate zords) was actually the first zords for the Kakurangers, with the Beast General Fighters(Battle Borgs for Alien Rangers) as their second set and the Kakure Daishogun (the Ninja Megazord of MMPR S3) were their ultimate zords, with Tsubasamaru (the Falconzord for MMPR) was autonomous.
Man the Japanese versions have so much shine to their parts compared to the American versions we got. Hasn't stopped me from re-aquiring them all for my collection though lol
I want to start my collection, any good place to start buying them? Or just searching around, also do you have more luck looking for them with their japanese names or american names? Thanks
I want to say the MMPR The Movie versions of the Ninja Megazord and Falconzord are one of the few times Bandai America released an unchanged version of the Sentai release of a mecha. Only other one I can recall, people can correct me if I'm wrong, is the ToysRUs giftset of the Time Force Megazord and Time Shadow, I can confirm that one because that's the version of both I have.
i had the ninja megazord and the white falcon zord as a kid. seeing this video brought back such memories. though the american version of the falcon zord didn't have sound.
You playing with some of those while showing them off was really entertaining. I always wanted to get my hands one at least one piece of PR merchandise, so you are in some ways living my dream.
I had them all plus a bunch of others from other seasons but had my dad give them away to a kid when I was in 11th grade high school. I want them back so bad
I really really want these authentic versions. The versions I got as a kid had silly "americanized" stickers on them. Lightning bolts instead of symbols, stuff like that.
Y haven't seen Kakuranger... but the mechas/robots/zords are so amazing o": specialy the first ones, I love how every one becomes a part of the body... every mecha does that but... i don't know, these ones feel kinda special
They painted it pink in the American adaptation because it was given to the pink ranger Kimberly, who was later replaced by Kat. I also remember the American power rangers version of the toy using lightning bolt stickers, which made it look inaccurate to how it appeared on-screen.
This as close I've seen to an explanation for were Shogun Megazord's head comes from when it combines in the show it just kind of drops lower down from no were
i love that for some unknowing reason...the version of the muteki shogun we got here ( shogun megazord ) had a pink arm instead of a white one...despite that in the show it was white xD
Muteki đẹp quá trời , thiết kế dựa trên hình tượng 1 tòa thành cổ . Đẹp , rõ ràng tay chân ... thế mà nhiều bạn trẻ chê rằng xấu nhất từng xem ... âu cũng là ... à mà thôi :3
Tsubasamaru/Falconzord is the only Kakuranger Mecha to return in the Power Rangers series, most notably, "Dimensions in Danger" from Super Ninja Steel.
It's funny.. In MMPR season three, the Shogun Megazord (Muteki Shogun) was the stronger mech yet, in Kakuranger it was the Ninja Megazord (Kakure Daishogun) that was the more powerful mech.
I think the reason they did it that way was twofold: *Firstly, there were six rangers on the team instead of five like there were in Kakuranger, so they gave Tommy the falcon zord (known as Tsubasamaru in Japan) so that he could have a zord as well. *The second reason is because by the time they got the ninja zords (Kakure Daishogun) in Kakuranger, Tsubasamaru was already part of the team, allowing them to use that footage while giving Tommy a zord. *A third possible reason is because the ninja zords were animals, like with all the previous zords the rangers had up to that point, so giving them humanoid zords first probably seemed like it would be an odd decision at the time.
As someone who grew up with the original Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, and therefore grew up with Season 3, I was associate the Ninja Megazord set to be the first group of Zords when the Rangers acquire the Ninja Powers, and then the Shogun Zords being their second set. And honestly, I think it make more sense. I can't exactly explain it, but the Ninja Megazord looks like a Megazord that the Rangers would acquire when they first acquire their powers, while the Shogun Megazord looks like an upgraded/enhanced version of their first Megazord.
3rd season of MMPR = Power Rangers Ninja Force! We should have gotten a team-up with Ninja Force, Ninja Storm, Samurai, and Ninja Steel!!! I would watch that all day!!!

I personally think that there are 2 main reasons why they did it this way in Power Rangers: 1) There were 6 Rangers at the time they got their new zords, so they wanted each of them to have one of their own. If they had started with Muteki Shogun as they did in Japan, there would have been 5 zords, since Tsubasamaru (aka the Falconzord) didn't join until later on 2) The previous 2 sets of zords they used were animals, and having the ninja zords be introduced first fit better with this theme. Again, Tsubasamaru also fits in here as well, since it has a closer design to the ninja zords than the shogun zords
Just like my previous power ranger zords from season 2, I have the legacy ninja megazord and the white falconzord all I need is the shogun megazord and ninjor
It's weird how the shogun megazord was the primary zord and then the ninja zord was final megazord in the sentai but it's the other way around in rangers season
I still find it funny the fact that the ninja megazord came before the shogun megazord which im sure confused a lot of kakuranger fans when they watched mighty morphin season 3 although where's the alien ranger zords the ones before they used the shogun megazord
