DM "Here is the House". I played the first bassline sections live, then it is sequenced on Pro Tools. Keyboards: Upper: Roland Promars MRS-2 (using a single Oscillator) Mid: Emu Emax Low: Kurzweil PC1x Composed by Martin L. Gore
Here is the house where it all happens those tender moments under this roof body and soul come together as we come closer together and as it happens it happens here in this house And I feel your warmth and it feels like home and there´s someone calling on the telephone let´s stay home it´s cold outside and I have so much to confide to you With or without words I´ll confide everything ... So we stay at home and I´m by your side and you know what´s going on inside inside my heart inside this house and i just want to let it out for you ...
I think "Here is the House" is my favorite Depeche Mode song. It's the one I keep coming back to over and over. I first heard Black Celebration when my high school crush's best friend invited me over to her house to have a swim party. So it's just me and these two cute girls swimming and having the time of my life, as much as I could have with parental supervision, and they put on Black Celebration on their portable radio. I had never heard the album before. This song reminds me of that time I cherish so much.
Honestly... haven't been "that impressed" with your productions, up until now. The sound fabrications have been spot on, but the sequencing... I'm like... well, yeah... but it doesn't show any "skills". "Both hands" sold me, on this one, particularly with the counter-point syncopation. Bravo. Props. Respect.
i clicked "like it" ....but instead i LOVE it :) When you play both hands it´s magic.....thats´s the reason I would never call myself a musician ;) I make music, but just one-handed ^^
Wonderfully performed. My 12 yr old saw this and has wanted to learn synth and programming for a while. We listen to DM and other bands too. Newly subscribed and look forward to your talents as well. Thanks.
The difference between rj8, and dx5 is that rj8 uses a regular keyboard connected to a computer programming system and sampling, which is fine and great, especially if you can't afford a real, multi synthesizer setup like dx5 has.
Been listening to his fine covers for years now... would love to see him live as well :) I am a musician myself (although in a bit different corner of this universe called music) and I just know it would be great to see DX5 in a nice club performing his art. edit: I don't even know where exactly DX is coming from, but if it is somewhere in Europe, I wouldn't dare to miss out on his gig ;)
Amazing how he plays those 2 very different melodies at the same time! Some fine keyboard skills on show. Brilliant song by Mr. Gore. I wonder how much of Alan is in this track. I suspect a lot.
One of the most beautiful your covers of DM)!! Amazing accuracy, energy, feel of the song, sound, bass line! Great)! Even genius)! And...only 9!! dislikes proove my words) And...correctly played)!
