Sweet, your video DX6i HowTo Part 4 fixed my last issue, I was having the issue where my elevator was inverted, the swash mix fixed it right up, thanks a bunch.

One downside I can see by not having negative pitch setup in normal mode is autorotation. You wouldn't be able to autorotate in normal mode if you lost power or lost tail control.

Thats why you have throttle hold pitchcurve and idle up. That gives you full negative.

That maybe for electric, but what about nitro. You always want midstick to be 0 pitch? For nitro midstick carb half open? And then work your way up.

I set mid stick to 0º pitch for every helicopter that I fly, no matter if it is nitro or electric. On a Nitro though, I always have a governor that controls the throttle. On electric, if I'm not going to be smacking it around, I just use a flat curve on the throttle. You can do the same on a nitro, but I would use a V curve to help with bogging.

I would stay away from 100%. It can over speed the engine and cause some damage. Max I would go is 90%, especially if you are going to run a governor. The governor will need the overhead to do what it is there to do. But yea, 85 80 75 80 85 or something like that for IU2 would work pretty good. And yes, you can go down to a 3 point curve and just to 85 75 85 if you wanted.

@@RcHelpDotCom The curve was an example. It has been a while, i always use 5 points. But 90% on the throttle, thanks for that. I will put in 100 throttle but set the curve to 90

hi. can you help me.. im wondering if it is normal that when you move the rudder stick from left or right it just move and stuck without returning back to the center or where it should be?. and if its not. can help me set it?. my tx is also a dx6i. and not really familiar from all its functions. thanks. i'm just new here in this hobby. hope you can help me.

Hi, Im planning on getting a zyx s with a satellite as apparently the zyx s needs no rx. Would that come with a bind plug? Thx All this stuff is from hobbyking btw

@RcHelpDotCom i would like to know about the many settings like pitch curve, swash mix, travel adj, gyro, thro curve and other functions of this radio. and an explaination about what it is for / what does it do and how to set it. something like that.. i really have 0% knowledge about it. thanks! hope you can make some vids bout it..

Nitro, you can't. Electric, you just have to make sure your ESC is plugged into the throttle port, and then you set your throttle curve and make sure hold is off when you want to spool up the motor. www.Rc-Help.com
