Please wear gloves it's called penatrent for a reason I see your red fingers save the organs .

Most of the time cracks open only when the engine is hot and working (pressure). It is very hard to find them cold.

With this penetrant it's simple and reliable.. I'll say in inlet/exhaust ports that's superior. If it shows crack that's definetly a crack, but if in hot bath You see no pressure loss/bubbles, that doesn't mean crack isn't developing somewhere...
