@@13175catalystthanks for correcting me. Good to know we have experts out there keeping it real. 4 horsemen drummer - if you read this. I can see you giving this your all and i applaud you Sir.
@@VERMACIDE Sweet Lars joke bro!!! Bahahahahaha! Lars is bad at drums and you made fun of it!! So original and funny! I’m dying over here. I wish more people would make fun of Lars online. It’s such an overlooked area of trash talk.
Man, that drummer should've gone on a vacation at someplace nice after that marathon LOL. Although incredibly skilled, the guy was holding on for dear life at various points of the song, but managed to survive in the end. Absolutely goated 🔥🤘🏽🔥
@@garymorris216 Yeah, people like to trash talk Lars a lot to the point it has become a universal meme, but just because he wasn't as technical as many of his contemporaries doesn't mean he wasn't a beast in his own right. He has indeed fell off from Death Magnetic onwards, but just a passing glance at the OG S&M or the DVD that came with the St. Anger album will show anyone how much of a beast Lars always was.
@@TheRetroBassistyes, composing and arrangement wise he is still good, has very good feel for the groove and music... now, live, he is so so, a lot of simplifying and improvisation and drums do not sound that powerful, but it is fine considering age, millage and all... they still have fun on stage
@@THRASHMETALFUNRIFFS haha … your a gear head for sure !! It’s a 71 , and I’m still not done restoring it …😂 I did a frame off resto on it , welded in a bunch of body panels , put a motor and tranny in it ,got it running , then ran out of money … someday I’m hoping I can finish it … thanks 🙏🏻, I just subscribed to your page !! 🤘🏼
@@thefourhorsemen18-20 Oh so it is yours! Very cool, yeah man I had two of these in high school when I was in autoshop class a few years, trans went out in my rattlecan primered 71 and then I found a 70 SS and it spun a rod bearing so I pulled the engine from the 71 in class and put it in the 70 and soon converted it to HEI but it got totalled by a drunk lady in an Olds 442 with no insurance!! Pulled the motor again and traded both cars for a 77 TransAm with no motor. Check my cars playlist for two vids on Monte Carlo history and get it on the road when you can bro, I understand unfinished projects for sure Metal homie.
Damn, every time I listen to this it gets better and better. It's just spot on. It really does sound like Metallica live in 1989 . Love it , what a great job.
As an extremely seasoned musician, as well as a die hard Metallica fan, I have to say, that was probably one of, if not the tightest, cover of that song I have EVER seen. Great f****** job guys. And extra kudos to the drummer! You kicked it's ass! That's a very difficult song to pull off
This makes me smile. Very cool. I don't know what happened to Metallica after that album but it's the last one I love. I was in 10th grade when it came out and changed things for me a bit.
@@rafaelparedes1937 Nah dude... most anyone and everyone who was a fan of Metallica from the start thinks "...And Justice" is their pinnacle. Maybe others like Master or Ride for other personal reasons, but for most of us, it was Justice that was a milestone for trash metal and their best work. It was revolutionary. I wish they had continued in this vein too. It had so much power, and intricacy and melody. Something for everyone.
It was impossible to keep releasing iconic thrash metal albums. They just lacked thrash metal ideas. One way or another they came back to the roots in DM and that album contains tracks that I can rank alongside the first albums. I like approximately a half of what they did after AJFA. On some albums less than a half.
Deer mother, deer father🤘🫎 These guys make faces and smile like they're playing some easy but nice 4 chord song with acoustic guitar, mandolin, ukulele and cajon, singing about love and peace and wearing colorful shirts.
This song is for musicians what the final exam is for FBI cadets at Quantico. If you can play this successfully you can play just about anything. Stamina, stamina, stamina!!!
@@woodstrekker6345 I believe ya … I’m the same way , this was so laid back and I was just enjoying myself with my bros , sometimes the big shows are very hectic in preparation and I was always more focused at shows … Thanksgiving is for the comment and for watching!! 🙏🏻🤘🏼
Funniest stuff is the homies laughing watching their drummer homie giving everything he got to perform this badass song 😂 flawless cover btw, keep it up guys
Makes me have flashbacks as a teen playing songs from that album down in my basement with my band and my mom coming down in between songs and telling us to play a little quieter so she could hear herself think. My bros would always be respectful to her and as soon as she would get back upstairs, we would jam as loud as we did before she came downstairs. When we were finished with the song, she would say, thank you that's much better😁 Miss that woman lots. Mom RIP 2/2020 Great job to The Four Horseman, and I'm now a sub.
@@Emmanuelwithus thanks for sharing ! It sounds familiar … haha , I played these songs when I was a kid with my old band just starting out as well ! Those were fun times for sure ! 32 years later , back in the garage !😂 thanks for watching!! 🤘🏼🙏🏻
@@ruthlesstony2133 That's bs . He has been told by James and Bob Rock that "you don't do your homework" . I'm a guitarist of 37 years and he's the Jimmy Page of my generation, meaning he's sloppy and has a difficult time playing true to what is on the records. Does anyone else in Metallica "Improvise any of their parts. I've seen Metallica every time they came to my area from 1984 when they played at the Galaxy nightclub in South Jersey,10 minutes from Philadelphia until Load and Reload, including Monsters of Rock in 88 with Dokken, Kingdom Come, the Scorpions and Van Halen and the Guns and Roses and Metallica show at Giants Stadium along with a ton of out of State shows. James would always look pissed off when Kirk would screw up and would give him dirty looks like WTF dude. Do you see any other Metal or otherwise just Improvise the guitar solos. This is not a jam band. We're not talking about the Greatful Dead or some jazz act. He is sloppy that's why he uses the wha wha pedal so much. These guys play all over the world to people who don't even speak English and they sing the guitar solos. Look at Megadeth 6 different guitarist with their own style of playing yet they all have to learn how to play someone else's solos because it's critical for the band to connect with the fans around the world. You know I'm right so just accept reality. Apparently as long as Kirk is in the ballpark James and Lars are used to his sloppy playing. I will always love Metallica, but I don't like when one person is lazy and does nothing to improve and play on the same level as the rest of the band.
Great work! Super tight and near perfectly executed on everyone’s end. I’m even impressed that y’all have such a good stage sound. Everything is audible at just the right amount.
I was so concentrated on the drummer i I assumed you just had Hetfield on a backing track because he sounded so good, until i realised. You guys are awesome !
@@thefourhorsemen18-20 mate, you can never get enough Dyers Eve. I will check em out, i think i don't even need to mention that :P Also...As Feedback I couldn't hear the Bass :PPP
You guys are really good! I think it’s the best cover I’ve seen of a Metallica song. I’m glad you kept with the arrangement of the song and didn’t add a bunch of your own touches. I like when a band covering a song sticks with the integrity of the song. When I hear a cover of a song, I don’t want to hear someone else’s interpretation. I want to hear the song the way I know it. The drummer rocks! I subbed. 🤘🎸🥁
@@erinbremer5490 thanks so much!! I agree , cover the song as close to the album as possible , and that’s what we were trying to do … thanks for watching!! 🙏🏻🤘🏼
