My homemade alcohol stove, stand and windscreen for about $2!
Stove is a tin I got from the Dollar store. I cut a circle of welder's cloth to fit inside. the metal on top is an old vent cover from a computer. it's not necessary but does seem to help make the stove burn hotter.
The wire stand was made from a coat hanger.
I make all my own windscreens now because I can make them easily and cheaply. And I can make them perfectly to fit my cook kits.

A trangia burner would also work well under the homemade windscreen and pot stand, plus the fancy feast stove. :) Job well done! :)

If you get another lid like your original lid you use as a snuffer. If you put a hole in the middle you'll have a homemade simmer ring after putting wire around the lid with carbon felt stapled on so you don't burn yourself.

The metal circle piece inside the dollar store tin is a computer fan cover. Under it inside the tin is welders cloth.

I would have liked if you would have showed how you made it and where you bought your aluminum and did it already come with those holes in it or did you have to drill those out?.

The aluminum comes in small sheets ( approximately 3"x5"). You can pick it up at the hardware store. It's called flashing. I put the holes in with a paper hole punch.
